PROMISE (KANADE X AIRI)

1. Moonlit Meeting

Everything was well in the Momoi Kingdom, no threats were made, there was no danger. Up until a blue eyed witch and her pink haired companion showed up

Kanade and Mizuki were running through the woods of the Hinomori Kingdom, their destination? The Momoi Kingdom. "Kanade, we're only going here because of that gem. No getting distracted, got it?" Mizuki said to their friend. The two usually wouldn't go outside the Asahina Kingdom, but this time was special. Mizuki heard of a gem that was kept in the Momoi Kingdom, the gem of desire. Legends said that whoever had the gem would receive great power, and that's what the two were after.

"I got it. The Momoi Kingdom should be about a couple minutes away, do you have the plan that Rui sent us?" Kanade asked, she was way more jittery than normal. "Yes, he said for us to blend in for now. Once his invention gets to the Momoi Kingdom is when the fun starts." They explained, Rui was Mizuki's longtime friend, and the person who recruited them to join the witches in the first place. The two started to see a glimpse of a white castle, it had pink accents on it. There was a village infront of the castle, which is where they would camp for now. "We're here, Mizuki."

"Finally...! Doing all that running was tiring!" Mizuki yawned, they stretched their arms. The two walked up to the village, where they saw a guide with light brown hair. The girl noticed the two. "Ah! Hello!! Welcome to the Momoi Kingdom, do you two need any assistance?" The girl asked, she seemed very energetic. "Uhh, yes.. Could you show us around the kingdom?" Kanade requested, she saw that the girl was near a booth, and the booth had a name on it. Minori Hanasato.. 'So that must be the guide's name...' Kanade thought.

"Sure, I'll show you every single spot!! But, let me introduce myself first! I'm Minori Hanasato, and i'll be your guide today!" The girl, now known as Minori, flashed a smile to the two. She then urged the two to follow her, and thus the tour began...
— "And for our last stop..." Minori led the two to a beautiful spot, there was pink and red flowers, it was near a river. "This is a favorite spot amongst locals, rumors say you could even see the princess here!! We call this spot Auora Creek!!" The girl exclaimed, Kanade was mesmerized. She wanted to stay here forever. "Hey... Mizuki, can you go back with Minori? I'm going to stay here for a while.." Kanade whispered to her companion.

"Eeehh?? You finally found a spot that got you impressed? You know what, sure, just come back before midnight!" Mizuki whispered back, and thus the two left, leaving Kanade all alone with her thoughts. It soon turned night.. 'The moonlight illuminates this spot perfectly...' Kanade thought, she truly was mesmerized.. Just then, she heard footsteps... "Who's there?" Kanade asked, getting into a defensive position. Maybe an enemy was sent to ambush her?? Oh go—

"Hey! You don't need to get so defensive, i'm not gonna do anything!!" A girl said, she had long coral pink hair and reddish pink eyes. She wore a long white dress, she truly was the definition of a princess.. "Ah, sorry.. I thought I was getting ambushed again..." Kanade apologized, she was in awe on how the girl looked. "Ambushed?? The Momoi Kingdom is the safest kingdom in the world!" The girl bragged, she got closer to the river, where Kanade was near.

"Anyway, are you a traveler or something? Your clothes are way too out of place here.." The girl asked Kanade, she didn't mean any ill intent, she was just curious. "Yeah, I guess you could say I'm a traveler.." Kanade replied.. "Oh, so you are a traveler? Well, can you tell me your name?" The pink haired girl said, she turned to face Kanade. "Uhmm. I'm Kanade.. Kanade Yoisaki. I come from the Asahina Kingdom.." Kanade introduced herself.

"Well, nice to meet you Kanade. I'm Airi, the princess of this very kingdom!"
