"The princess of the Momoi Kingdom?!" Kanade was shocked, she never expected to meet her this soon! "Shhh!! Quiet down, my dad will probably hear you..." The girl, now known as Airi, hushed Kanade. Airi turned to face the moon again, the two just stared at the moon, lost in their own thoughts. Until — "Ah, I gotta get back to my friend... Goodbye, Princess...!" Kanade said her goodbye to Airi "See you soon, Kanade!" Airi flashed a smile at the girl, and Kanade ran back to the village.
She could see Mizuki in the distance, Mizuki noticed her and waved to her. "Hey! Kanade, you're back!" Mizuki exclaimed, they were near what looked to be a house. "I got us a place to stay until Rui gets here!" Mizuki unlocked the door to the house and walked inside, Kanade followed her. "That's good... So, tomorrow we should get some clothes so we could blend in better." Kanade stated, they had to be stealthy, any wrong move and they could get banished from the kingdom, and their plan would fail. "Don't we have magic? Can't we just manifest it?" Mizuki questioned as they locked the door. "Mizuki.. That's not how our magic works.."
— It was now late at night, the two were sleeping, at least Mizuki was.. Kanade was kept awake with thoughts about that girl she met... Airi knew nothing about who she really was.. She had no idea that Kanade was only here to steal the Gem of Desire.. Kanade dreaded the thought of Airi finding that out.. "I can't let her find out..." was repeated in her mind. This mission truly meant everything to her... Kanade wondered about what Airi meant about saying "See you later.", will she really see her again? Or will Airi just disappear out of her life? Kanade really didn't know...
It was morning again, Kanade got no sleep last night.. Mizuki was still asleep, so she decided to explore the village for a bit. What she didn't expect was to see that same coral pink haired girl again. Airi waved at Kanade, though never approached... Probably because Airi had appearances to keep up, she wouldn't bother to be seen with a mere "traveler".. Kanade walked to a clothing store, she was looking for clothes for herself and Mizuki. "Hmm... They would like this bow..." Kanade mumbled, she managed to spot a bow that Mizuki would like...
— A couple minutes later, and Kanade got about 4 pairs of clothes for herself and Mizuki. She walked up to the door of their shared residence.. "Finally, you're back! I was starting to get bored, you know?" Mizuki called out when they noticed she was home. Their tone was one of boredom. "Ah, sorry.. I got us some clothes, 2 for each of us.. This should help us in our disguises.." Kanade explained, she opened the bag with the clothes and took them out. "OOO..!!! You got me a bow?? Thank you!" Mizuki exclaimed as they saw the bow in the bag. "You're welcome, Mizuki..." Kanade said, and thus the day passed again..
It was about 10:00 PM, Mizuki was already asleep, Kanade was out of the house. She went to the same spot where she met Airi, the spot near the river with pink and red flowers. She waited until midnight, she was about to go back, until she heard those familiar footsteps again.. "Hey! Kanade, you're back here again!" Airi exclaimed, she was wearing a pink dress now, it complimented her hair nicely. "Oh, it's you again! I didn't expect for you to come back.." Kanade calmly said, she was facing the moon, yet she managed to get a glimpse at Airi.
"Why wouldn't I come back? This is my favorite spot in the kingdom after all!" Airi exclaimed, she walked over to where Kanade is. Airi looked at her, she thought that Kanade looked nice today.. "I see you've managed to get some clothes! If you want, I could take you shopping with me.." Airi offered, Kanade shook her head. "Miss Airi.. I can shop by myself, it's fine.." Kanade smiled at her. "Kanade! There's no need for formalities!! Besides, this is just a moment between us.." Airi exclaimed. There was a moment of silence until..
"Kanade, can you promise me something?" Airi said out of the blue. Kanade was confused, that was something she never thought she would hear today. "Promise me that you'll always meet me at this place, even if we get separated?" Airi asked, she looked into
Kanade's eyes, by her face Kanade could see she was begging for a yes.
"I promise.. Miss Airi.."
