Tobio hit his chest as he peeked into the classroom, seeing Shōyō laughing with that large smile of his. It made his heart race. Although, he did not want it to.

"You stupid heart, just stop beating so fast already. I don't even like him."

Tobio mummered to himself, knowing that he is not going to trick anyone, including himself.

"I have a good idea, how about I just confess to get over it? Surely Hinata will reject me kindly so I can just forget about my feelings and play volleyball with him."

Tobio smirked at his own idea like a dummy and texted Shōyō to meet him at the back of the school gymnasium after school. Although, he texted him on a whim without thinking about it.

"Ring!" The last bell of the day rang. Tobio dashed out of class, the keychains on his bag furiously rattling. Upon reaching the back of his school gymnasium, he panted. Heart beating wildly. Was it because he ran or the reason he was panting at the back of the school gymnasium in the first place?

Tobio shot up as he heard footsteps approaching him.

"Wait, why am I standing all so straight in the first place? I'm not nervous, am I?"

Tobio scoffed as he looked up into Shōyō's glimmering eyes, almost lost in them until Shōyō hit his back,
