Ive been feeling a bit insecure lately. Just- his ex is model and an actress and im just an average girl. I dont want to sound weird so i havent told him about it.
He plops down on my lap and i play with his fluffy hair.
"Whats on your mind?" he asks opening his eyes and looking up at me.
"Nothing" i shake my head
"I can tell it's something" he says sitting up and facing me.
"Nothhinggg" i say
"Cmon tell me" he says lying beside me and wrapping his arms around me and kissing the side of my head.
"Joao it's nothing" i say
"Please tell me" he says pulling me closer and kissing the side of my head more.
"Joao it's dumb" i say
"It's not tell me" he says burying his face in my neck.
"Im just- ugh it's really dumb" i sigh again
"I dont care" he says
"Okay but promise you wont judge" i say
"I promise" he kisses my neck
"Im just feeling- insecure thats all no big deal" i rush
"Why are you feeling insecure?" he asks
"Just- im not a model" i mumble
"So?" he asks. I crawl out of his arms and sit up, he sits up beside me too.
"And im not an actress, im not famous- im nobody" i huff. He looks at me waiting to talk more.
"And- i look nothing like - i look nothing like your type, im nowhere near as pretty as -" i say going quiet.
"Dont say that! Youre the prettiest girl ever and my eyes have been blessed that ive seen you" he says trying not to grinn at the last part.
"Youre perfect and my type is you" he wraps his arms around me
"I love you, every part of you, even the ones you dont like" he kisses the top of my head
"I love the colour of your hair, i love when the light shines on it and it turns even more brown, i love the colour of your eyes, i love when you look at me with them, i love your smile, your teeth, your face- everything" he says
"te amo" i smile
"Te amo" he whispers
