Jade's pov:

Striding confidently through all the students on the yard. I looked around and saw all the different groups.

The nerds. Had their heads stuck in comics and books, wearing geeky glasses and had lots of pimples. Like me at school to be honest.

The chess people. Moving delicate pieces around the board while their gaze was fixed on winning.

The year 7's. They were the new ones of the school, not knowing where to go at all. Using maps to find their way. Making new friends was the hardest because you don't know how to start a conversation.

The jocks. 5 of them to be exact. Walking up to different girls probably trying to get them in bed. They look like real players who will use you for your body not your personality.

Then there was the mean girls. There was 3 of them. Wearing leather jackets with studs on them to be intimidating. Smoking just to make them look badass. There was a really attractive blonde one who when I made eye contact with just gave me a harsh glare.

There's something you should know about me; I'm a lesbian. I've knew this ever since I was younger. Yes I do have a girlfriend but I feel like she's being seeing other people behind my back. I just pretend I'm all loved up even though I'm dying inside.

"You must be Ms Thirlwall our new teacher. I'm Miss Shackleton the head teacher!" I sat in the heads office. I shook her hand politely.

"So there's something about your year 11's who are your form and English class. They cause a lot of trouble especially Perrie Edwards. Make sure she stays in line because we'll have to kick her out the school if she doesn't start behaving!" She told me. Maybe that's the blonde haired girl from before!

"Okay, I'll keep a close eye on her!"

"Here's your timetable and everything that you will need for the school year. I'm guessing you've got your lessons planned out?" She doubled checked with me.

"Of course!"

"You're free to go Ms Thirwall. I'll check up on you at lunch just to see how you are getting on. Good luck!" I stood up.

"Thank you!" I made my way to my classroom which was B23. I organised my desk then sat down on my swirly chair which spun. My eyes made their way around the room seeing the classroom decoration. I'll have to decorate this place soon! The bell rang and my form class came in. It was the first day of school so nobody knew where to sit.

"Move! That's our space at the back!" A girl with blonde hair said. That was the girl from before! The people sitting around got up without saying anything and moved out of the way. She sat down with her friends and started talking. I rolled my eyes knowing that this is going to be a long year!

"Hello class! I'm Ms Thirlwall but I suppose you may call me Jade. I don't mind. I'm new here so I have to get used to all the routine. I am 20 and am currently single!" I was about to carry on but those girls at the back were laughing and talking.

"Do you mind?" I crossed my arms over my chest while rising up from my chair.

"What was that?"

"I said do you mind?"

"Go away!" She spat.

"And what is your name?" I asked.

"Perrie, Perrie Edwards!" She said without any hesitation. Nice name; it suits her!

"Ah you're the one who thinks she is a badass but you're really not!" A few laughs went round the class.

"You just got burned by a teacher!" A boy shouted to her.
