EXT. OUTSIDE OF COLLEGE FRONT DOORS - SUNNY - DAY
2024 January 9th Tuesday
3RD POV:
JUN walked out the door of college by himself, his classes just ended and it was around lunchtime, wearing headphones and playing his favorite music: Stay With Me by JungKook. Turning the corner around the street, sticking to his daily schedule as always; he walked inside a quiet coffee cafe that's near his college.INT. CAFE WINDOW
He sat down by a window where the sun shone warmly on the table, he began to search through the sea of people for a perfect art model.
JUN: Hmm..
Jun glanced around looking for a perfect muse to sketch, looking side to side, he saw a woman taking a stroll with her dog, near her were two boys filming a video together, and near the ocean view; a family of 3 was building sand castles, but all of those isn't what Jun was looking for.
He started to become annoyed from dissatisfaction, he looked down at his blank sketchbook, then looked up again for another try, across the cafe window, there was a newly opened flower shop.
The name: Ren's Flower Shop was written italics above the pine-framed glass doors. He averted his eyes to the left. There standing was a breath-taking scene; it seemed as if time itself took a break, and nothing moved.
JUN: Wow.
Standing outside was the shop owner, a boy. His dark brown hair glowing into a warm red honey color from the sunshine, he stood while holding a pot of red locus with both hands, planning to put them outside on the shelves. He is softly smiling, proud of his accomplishments. He is exactly what Jun was searching for.
JUN: It has to be him.
Jun whispered to nobody, the boy was his ideal muse, and his fingers ached to draw every curve and edge that boy possessed. Staring at him in awe, he couldn't let this chance get away, he quickly took a picture of the boy kneeling while decorating his shop with beautiful flowers. He stared at the photo with a stupid grin.
EXT. DORM ROOM - BEDROOM - NIGHT - 11:00
Deep in his thoughts, Jun in a gloomy mood sunken into the chair as he scratched his head, terribly frustrated in front of his computer and sketchbook. His table was a mess with failed templates scattered around and even on the floor.
JUN: Gosh, the project is due this summer and I barely have 4 months left.
Jun murmured under his breath. The clock was ticking faster than ever.
Tick. Tock. Tick. TockJUN: I still have no idea what theme to pick on. UGHHH.
He glared at his clock, silently cursing, he tried to recall every moment he encountered today, but nothing was coming back to him. A sudden thought interrupted his mind, as he quickly took out his phone and scrolled. Staring at the photo he had taken earlier, he mentally cheered for celebration and began brainstorming.
JUN: The picture looks so gentle, and has a soft aura.. oh, maybe the flowers can be a symbolism? Or I can make the painting out of flowers? .. paper flowers??
Jun closed his eyes; visualizing the ideal masterpiece. He took control of his breathing as he graphed a map out inside his mind, it took some time but, eventually, he reopened his eyes in excitement.
JUN: Oh fuck yes! Since the project requires two different types of studio art styles. A painting of a boy made out of paper flowers.. and a sculpture of a boy wearing a flower-made gown would be perfect to get a good grade. Bruh that's hard though... ugh okay, I got this.
