"Stop! You are a sick bastard, rot in hell!" I throw my weight to shove this horrible man to the ground. I punch untill he's bloody and semi-conscious.
I grab the poor girls hand and run. We run untill we get to my apartment.
Once inside I help her clean and bandage her wounds.
"Who is he to you? Boyfriend? Brother?"
The girl was around 15 and had short brown greyish hair and stone colored eyes.
"He's my boyfriend.....well I broke up with him, so my ex now" she looked down tears falling down her light brown skin.
I kneel infront of her lifting her face gently to look me in my eyes. "Whoever he is to you, your safe now. Just know that I won't let him hurt you anymore" I pull her into a gentle, warm hug. She crumbled into my arms. She reminded me of myself. Hurt and broken, thinking this is it, this is my life of depression and abuse.
" what's your name dear?" I ask as she pulls away.
"Shilar, but most call me Grey"
I smile at her beautiful name,"I'm not like most, shi it is, if your okay with it?" (Pronounced like shy.) I flash a smirk.
"What am I going to do? I can't go back and my parents always side with him and they don't care about what he does or even what happens to me!" She's on the verge of full tears.
"Shi, I've been in a similar situation as you. If you want we can share a room? Sorry that I don't have a spare room" I bite my lip in a nervous habit.
"Really! Oh my god! I'm fine with sharing, thank you!" She hugs me with happy tears.
"Its no problem, come on" I show her my lonley room.
"I don't even know your name" she looks at me.
"I go by many, but you can call me Kaia" I take her on a grand tour of my small lonely looking apartment.
"Kai it is!" She laughed, as she looked around.
"Are you hungry?"
"Yeah, alittle" she picked at her chewed nails.
"Come on, you can meet my friend, shes really sweet and we cook together all the time" I lead her across the hall and knock on Mrs.Nejia's door.
She opened ut with a bright smile,looking confused at Shi.
"Who's your friend here?"
"This is Shi, she's gonna be living with me" I internally smile at the thought of having a friend.
"Well your friend is mine, come on in I'm making your favorite dish" she happily invited us in and I began to help her set the table, having to remind myself that there's three of us now. I finish setting the table and help set the pot of garlic noodles.
"Thank you for this, this is amazing!" Shi smiles eating her food.
"Its no problem dear" she smiles brightly.
"Can you help me real quick" I rub my arms.
"Yeah, dear we'll be right back"
She leads me to the bathroom and we start our regular routine, she cleans my cuts and the dry blood.
"Where did you find that girl?" She looked confused and alittle on guard.
"She was being attacked by her ex and I had to help" I don't understand why she so guarded.
"Just be carefull okay? You don't need more problems while your already struggling "
"I'm fine" I snap, I dont even let her finish. I shove down my sleeves and grab her hoodie sleve.
"We're leaving" I lead her to our apartment and I lock the door.
"Are you okay?" Shi asked.
"I'm fine" I leave her and go to he bathroom. I locked the door and grab my kit. I grab my razor blades and roll up my sleeves. Out of anger I carve deep rivers into my arms, and I then drop my pants to my ankles and carve deep rivers into my thighs. I can feel my head getting lighter and the world turns to black.
