35. Alice in Truthland

3 YEARS AGO (FLASHBACK)

**Alice's POV**

Rose has finally decided to leave her training at Kim's mansion. I am happy because I didn't like that Kim guy very much but at the same time I am sad as I know how passionate she was about this and it's quite sad to see someone lose their passion. But I understand because she did not want to be involved in all this Mafia sh*t. So here I am at the Kim mansion for the last time in my life.

 I was waiting to pick Rose up when I suddenly heard shouting from the garden. It was Mr. Kim on the phone. At first, I ignored it but then I heard something about Kim Hyun-Woo and plastic surgery. Why would Mr. Kim address himself with his name? I peeped from behind a tree trying my best to not make any noise. What I heard shocked me.

Jang Beom-Seok : Hey! No one should know Kim Hyun-Woo is dead. I told you ages ago to burn his body at Beverly Hills itself. Why the hell is the body still in Korea!? What if people find the body, you idiot!?

...........

Well, find the body and burn it to the core. If anyone finds out that I am not Kim Hyun-Woo but Jang Beom-Seok, I'll be in trouble and I can't afford that before killing that Minho bastard.

I tripped back and stepped on a branch. It cracked, and I twisted my ankle and fell. Jang Beom-Seok looked at me in horror. I quickly got up and sprinted out of there. I picked up Rose and we left as soon as possible. I was so shocked and confused at the same time. Who the hell should I tell? 

After 2 days I was still confused and petrified with this new information. It was 1st of April and Y/N visited us. I tried telling her when we were on the rooftop that evening. Y/N left the rooftop for some time and I decided that I had to tell her. This was big information. But a spider came out of nowhere. I was so frightened that I did not notice my surroundings and started screaming like there was no tomorrow. I managed to get it off me and threw it down somehow but before I could relax, someone came running from the side and pushed me down the balcony. I blacked out as soon as I made contact with the ground.

Jang Beom-Seok: I tried killing her, Alice, that bitch! I may have not succeded but as far as I know, she has not woken up since then right, Rose?

Rose ran to Y/N and grabbed Y/N's legs. Shaking, she begs Y/N for forgiveness. 

Rose: I am s-so sorry Y/N. I blamed you all these years for nothing. P-please forgive me.

Y/N sits on the ground and places Rose's head on her shoulder to calm her down. She softly says words of affirmation to her. Meanwhile, on the side, Minho was shaking with anger and rage. He started beating Jang mercilessly till all the bones in his body were in pieces. When he was done but still not satisfied, he pulled out his gun and emptied all the rounds on that bastard. "I always wanted a second chance to kill you properly." Minho trips back and collapses from exhaustion.
