It's only been a couple of years but a lot has happened since August of 2021.
I met new people and even started to get close to the mysterious boy from senior year . And I learned that he is very reserved and doesn't really say much, but for some odd reason he always wants me to be around.
We aren't together, but- it's complicated.
Naja and I became best friends, and I've gotten close to Santana, Reign, and Kees and I love them all to death. As of right now everything is normal for me.
Except for the whole mafia thing, I'm still getting used to that.
I did not expect my life to take a drastic turn in such a short time frame.

As I was finishing up my last essay for the week, I heard a notification from my phone. It was from Tayshawn. I rolled my eyes as I opened the message.

I type my last sentence before submitting the essay and jumped up from my desk chair and grabbed my speaker before jumping up to get in the shower.
I connected the speaker to my phone and played, "Why I Love You So Much" by Monica.
I lathered up the bar soap and began cleaning my arms and entire body.
I sang along with the song as I cleaned my ears and neck. After I clean my whole body, I did same thing again two more times only this time adding on scented body wash before I got out.
I wrapped the towel around my raw body and began to do my hair, skincare, and dental cleaning process before walking back to my room to put on my moisturizing lotion, spray my perfume, then put on my outfit.

I turned off the music and my speaker. I then took my hair out of the wrap to style it into a half up and half down style.
