THE BLAZING MIDDAY, Sun shone relentlessly on the citizens of Trost that are busy about their daily lives like bees.

The towering walls provide a sense of security, yet they also serve a constant reminder of the titans lurking beyond.

The Garrison and other military factions maintain a vigilant presence, conducting regular patrols and drills to safeguard against Titan breaches.

Training exercises are commonplace, as soldiers hone their skills and strategies to defend their territory.

The atmosphere within Wall Rose is a mix of resilience and vulnerability, with communities striving to maintain a semblance of normalcy amidst the ever-present danger.

Despite the looming threat, life within Wall Rose also encompasses moments of solidarity, camaraderie, and hope.

Residents support one another, forging bonds and alliances to strengthen their resolve against the Titans.

The day-to-day existence is characterized by a delicate balance between preparation for conflict and cherishing fleeting moments of peace, as individuals and communities unite in their shared struggle for survival.

Sitting in his room, the white haired boy is looking outside the window where the sun is shining brilliantly in a clear blue sky, casting a golden hue over everything it touches.

The gentle warmth of the sun's rays embraces the earth, awakening a sense of vitality and joy.

The air is crisp and fresh carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers and mowed grass.

It has been three months since he was brought here, and there are only three hours left in his training.

Although he does not have permission to leave, Miche and Erwin come to meet him.

Erwin often asked YN about his childhood, but instead of an answer, he always received silence.

Erwin noticed that there is a locket around his neck, and whenever he's contemplating something, he starts playing with it.

"I won't let you go, Erwin Smith. You kept me imprisoned here for three months; you'll have to pay for your sins. I am tired of all these things; I need peace."

At that moment, someone knocked on the door.

"It seems like peace is not in my fate." He grumbled and got up to open the door. A girl stood there with some clothes.

She had made a disgusting face while glaring at him. She slightly pushed him and entered the room.

"Here's your uniform. Get ready, you have to leave." She said and placed the uniform on the table then looked at him with hands on her hips.

She stared at him for a few seconds and took a good look at him.

His white hair had fallen over his eyes, hiding his blue yet slightly grey orbs. His features were sharp. His height also didn't help, it can make him towered anyone. Noticing that she's staring, he rolls his eyes.

"Done staring?"

"Huh? What! Uhh who told you I'm staring at you. I was thinking!... Thinking about how they just allowed a murder to join the Survey Corps. What are they thinking?" She expressed her thoughts which she was thinking a minute ago.

"So much thinking."

"Probably something good." He groused.

"What did you say?"
