He thought he was a dog person but is very much a cat person, mainly Ravage is responsible for that.
He's old and loves taking care of his troops which is why some started calling him grandpa, but the nickname was restricted due to circumstances of the war and professional directions team decepticons have taken.
He used to have an old datapad that was full I mean FULL of ideas for new reformed Cybertron to look like. But the data pad was lost for several milion years only to be found by some of his troops and returned to Megatron's arms once again, now he has updated version.
The way he learns is by observing everything his troops are complaining when they think he's not around(bec everyone is freaking scared to admit there could be something wrong) and he tries to adjust load work and free life for everyone as much is possible.
Megatron has revolutionised all the jobs for decepticons so it's easier for them to do those jobs(he's really trying to help everyone)
He actually adores Starscream and the shows just make it seem like they really hate eachother(this isn't a ship) but sometimes it really gets on his nerves the disrespect Starscream has for him and "lessons" are inevitable
