This was how it went for the next three days, either Jack or I flew around as a bald eagle looking for Miss White, or I swam through the sea as a killer whale. But no sign of Alisha White. I was about to give up when, on the morning of the fourth day since the search for Alisha began, Tiago sent out such a strong long-distance call that apparently only reached Mr. Clearwater and me, as the other students were still asleep. The message the long-distance call contained read “Emily! Mr Clearwater! Come quickly Alisha White has arrived at the Blue Reef parking lot. Now I was wide awake, I jumped out of bed as if I had been bitten by a tarantula and got dressed at Sonic speed.

Then I left the guest hut where I had been sleeping for the last few days and ran to the parking lot at a pace that would make even a cheetah jealous. Unusually, I arrived at the parking lot, Jack was already waiting for me there. He looked towards the parking lot entrance, I followed his gaze and then I saw Alisha White slowly coming towards us. When she finally got to us, Jack Clearwater tried to hug her, but she took a step back.
