Nothing without you

Today was my first day working for Ms. Blackwell and honestly after yesterday I really don't want to leave my house. It was about six once I decided to roll out of bed to start getting ready before I got in the shower I picked out a simple but professionally outfit and got in the shower. Fifteen minutes passed and I got out of the shower and checked the time it was about six thirty.

I quickly dried off and got dressed and then did my hair before going downstairs to grab an apple. I headed out the door and locked it behind me and held a cab and headed to the building. As we arrived at the building I paid the driver and walked into the building and went to her office. I made it to the top floor and asked if Ms.Blackwell was in her office.The lady nodded as I headed to her door. I knocked on the door and waited till I heard a "come in" and walked in the room closing the door behind me.

She looked up to see who was in her office and when she saw me she asked if I was feeling ok after what happened yesterday. I told her I was still kind of shook up from it but I should be fine I said with a slight chuckle. I watched as she tilted her head trying to read me but failed I asked what work there was for me to do. While waiting I watched her think about her answer when she finally responded she walked over to the door and gestured me to follow.

We walked out of her office and she led me to an empty office she opened the door and walked in. "This will be your office you can decorate it however you would like" I smiled and asked if she was sure she nodded and walked out. I immediately pulled out my phone and headed to my chair and started to look for ways to design my new office. An hour had passed and I heard a knock on the door and told whoever it was to come in.

"Good evening Ms.Blackwell how are you" I asked as I lifted my head and saw her walk in. "I'm doing good just tired" she replied as she leaned up against the wall she was in a blue suit that showed a little bit of her neck tattoo. " I have a business trip in a few weeks and given that you are my assistant, I need you to come with me." She said while staring at me I cleared my throat as her gaze just continued. "When exactly is the date is the trip Ms.Blackwell" I asked trying to look away from her gaze.

"The tenth and before you ask it's to the UK" she said as she pushed herself off the wall. "Also I don't trust you walking by yourself so I hired you a guard" before I could say anything she walked out of the room. I sighed and went back on my phone and found a theme that not only fits me but the office in general. It was about my lunch break and I wanted pizza so I asked if Ms. Blackwell would like to join me so I got up and went to her door. As I waited for her to open the door I heard her say come in and I entered the room.

"Ms. Blackwell" I was cut off by her "just call me Sage"  she said with a small smile. "Well Sage I was wondering if you would like to come with me for lunch" I said while playing with my hands. "Sure why not it'll take my mind off of this paperwork" she got up and I watched as she grabbed her jacket and walked to the door and opened it for me. While we were walking to the restaurant we had a small conversation with each of us asking questions about one another. "What's your favorite color" she asked I thought about my answer and realized I only wear black and white maybe red.

"Black" I said with a small smile "what's yours" she looked up and replied by saying it was crimson red. As we finished our lunch we started to head back to the office as we finished our conversation. We arrived at the building and got into the elevator and headed to our floor as we walked out the elevator we went to our offices and finished our day.
