Chapter eleven

Felixs POV

Jeongin left for work and I was finally alone. I tried relaxing but my mind wouldn't let me. It kept coming back to Hyunjin. Why wouldn't he tell me who he was meeting. What was he doing? Something mafia or drug or murder related? I shake my head trying to escape the thoughts making their way in. Getting up I take a shower and get dressed. Cleaning up around the apartment I start to get bored. I was going to text Hyunjin but I was afraid he'd be too busy. I know I will go visit him at work.

Putting on a new outfit I look at myself in the mirror, the baggy jeans ripped slightly in the knees went perfectly with my over sized sweater. A simple white shirt tucked into the jeans. I fix my hair a little before putting on some lip gloss and highlighter. Checking myself out one last time I walk outside ready to head to the bus stop. But I was stopped by a vehicle driving up next to me, the driver rolls down the window and I see one of Hyunjins guards there. "Sir I was given directions to drive you were ever you need to go today" he says. I shake my head and blush, Hyunjin wasn't kidding when he said I'd no longer take the bus.

Getting in I tell the driver to go to the casino. Pulling up I walk in and head to the bar, Jeongin was there filling some orders. He saw me and ran over and hugged me, "Felix what are you doing here, aren't you off" he asks me. I nod and say "Yea I came to see Hyunjin for a minute". He starts poking me in my chest telling me how whipped I was, smacking his hands away I make my way to the back room. Going up to the guards I tell them I'd like to see Hyunjin, they look at each other before one of them says "Hes not here sir, you just missed him".

Looking at him confused I ask "Where did he go". One of them responds too quickly saying "Uptown restaurant". The other one hits the one who spoke, obviously I wasn't suppose to have this information. Saying goodbye to Jeongin I come back out to the driver waiting for me. "Where would you like to go sir" he asks me. I take a deep breathe before answering, "Uptown Resturant please".

After about a thirty minute drive we finally arrive. I get out and make my way in, there stood the hostess. She looks me up and down and asks rudely "do you need something". "I-I'm looking for Hwang Hyunjin" I stutter back. She sighs looking over her book infront of her she point over to the table. I walk over and look. There sat Hyunjin and two other people. Older people. Who was he meeting with?

Just then a name brings me out of my focus. "Yes we are meeting the Hwang Family" a man says. Turning around I see another older man but on his side was a beautiful girl. Wearing a flowy red dress that fell just below her golden heels, huge diamond earrings hanging from her ears, her make up was spotless and her brown hair was in a perfect bun. "Right this way" the same rude hostess said, walking them over to the same table Hyunjin sat at.

I watched from afar. Hyunjin stood up with the two others at the table bowing to the man and women who just walked in. The man shook Hyunjins hand before introducing the female to him. Just than my heart sinks, he grabs her hand and kisses the top of it, I could see the shade of red on her face from where I was standing. I start backing up, ready to leave but I fell into something or more like someone. I hear crashing and clinking around me. I had fallen into a waiter carrying a tray of plates. Everyone was now watching us, even Hyunjin who immediately made eye contact with me. Embarrassed and slightly hurt I run back outside, I hop in the car and scream at him to drive.

Getting home I run upstairs, swinging open the door and running to my room. Jumping onto my bed I start to sob. My Hyunjin, Hwang Hyunjin, was on a date with a girl.

Hyunjins pov

The hostess bring over Mr. Kim and his daughter Sasha. We all stand bowing to them, before sitting back down Mr. Kim takes my hand shaking it, motioning over to his daughter he says "this is Sasha Kim". Being cordial I grab her hand and kiss the back at it. Just then a loud crash happens in the front of the restaurant. Getting all of our attentions I see him, on the floor covered in food. Felix. What the fuck was he doing here. Shocked and confused I was about to make my way over to him before Sasha pulls me back.

"Don't be rude son, fix her chair for her. Don't worry about the wait staff they can handle it" my dad pipes up. I watch as Felix gets up and runs out the door. I wanted nothing more than to follow him but I couldn't. I pull out the chair for Sasha as she sits down. All of us sitting now we chat back and forth while ordering. My mind was still on Felix, maybe I should text him. I get out my phone, hiding it under the table as I start to type out the message. But someone grabs my phone from my hands, looking up I see Sasha holding it laughing.

I try to grab it back but she moves too fast. I was about to stand and take the phone but my dad put his hand on my shoulder. Gripping down on it harshly, "don't embarrass me son" he whispers in my ear. I nod as I watch Sasha put my phone into her clutch, smirking at me. I roll my eyes and bring my attention back to the table. "So Hyunjin, I heard you bought a new property last month, that rink a dink casino with the cross dressers" Mr. Kim speaks up.

My blood starts to boil, "actually sir it's bringing in a ton of revenue thanks to those cross dressers, that is why it's so profitable" I hiss back at him. He laughs at me "wouldn't you rather have nice looking girls working there in those outfits instead of men". I shake my head, "you would be surprised how many men come in just to talk to my wait staff who are also male" rolling my eyes at him. "Don't tell me you raised a pansy" he says looking over at my parents. My dad pipes up, "hah no of course not Hyunjin, he just knows how to treat his staff, he's still looking for the perfect girl. Isn't that right hyunjin" he looks at me shooting daggers at me.

"It doesn't matter what I am looking for, I am here to talk about business not love" I say leaning back into my chair. "Wow you thought him well, fine let's talk" Mr. Kim snaps back at me. "The plan is you are going to marry my incredible daughter here in exchange for a portion of my northern sales" he says motioning over to Sasha. I laugh back at him "as I told my parents I will tell you as well. I don't do arranged marriages. I have no interest in that just your sales up north" I say plainly. I watch as Mr. Kim's face gets red and hot with anger.

"Are you insulting me and my family Hwang" he growls out, gritting down on his teeth. I stand up, placing my napkin down on my plate and fix my tie. "You may call my Hwang Hyunjin, Mr. Kim. I have been respectful to you and your daughter the entire night but this is growing old. I told you as I told my parents I am head of the bloodline now, my offer is this. Give me 65% of your territory up north, leaving you with 35%, and I will give you a 15% cut on everything I move up there. It's a win win. I know how to sell and move the product and you sit back and collect. That is my offer to you." Grabbing Sasha's clutch I take my phone out and check the time. "I will give you until midnight to decide".

Pushing in my chair I kiss my mom on her cheek and start to exit. But not before coming back to finish, "Sasha you are truly gorgeous and I am sorry this didn't work out for you but if your father excepts I will make sure you live the finest lifestyle. If he doesn't accept then we can clearly see what he thinks of you". I drop the mic and walk away. Looking outside I call my driver up and get in. I tell him where to go and to step on it.

I need to see felix.
