Chapter twenty

Felixs POV

I couldn't sleep, I stayed awake watching as Hyunjin slept soundly next to me. I was scared that if I closed my eyes my mind would realize this was all fake. That I was still on the floor of his living room screaming my lungs out for him. I couldn't stop my mind from racing, he came back to me, he loves me. But still something worried me, the fact that he was suppose to be on the flight in the first place.

I didn't dare to take my eyes off of him, even till the morning when the sun started shining through his curtains into the room. I watch as he started to stir in his sleep before opening his eyes looking at me. "Felix" he whispered out but his voice was so deep, it made my heart flutter. I knew I never wanted him to stop saying my name.

I move closer to him as his arms wrap around me tighter. Nuzzling my head into his warm chest he starts to hum, listening to his heart beat mixed with the vibrations he was making almost put me to sleep. Just then his phone starts going off, groaning he leans back grabbing it and answering it, "this better be good news" he states plainly.

I tried listening but I couldn't hear the other person, almost like they were whispering to him. He nods his head into his phone, "good, keep an eye on him". He hangs up the phone, tossing it over to the side as his arms find their place back around me. I continued to listen to his heart beat, he was real, he was right in front of me, he was alive. But why couldn't I relax.

Hyunjin started to move, leaving me in his bed he walks into the bathroom. I can hear the water starting as the shower pours down. I shift over to his side of the bed, grabbing his pillow I bring it to my chest, inhaling his scent. A couple minutes later he comes out, his hair still wet and a towel wrapped around his waist.

Looking at me slightly confused what I was doing with his pillow, laughing a little bit before coming over and picking me up. My hands wrap around his head as our eyes meet. I lean down to him, resting my head on his shoulder as he walks us out to the living room. Placing me down softly on the couch he kisses my head before going into the kitchen. Grabbing himself a snack and me a banana he comes back and hands it to me.

His hand comes to my face, sitting down next to me he asks "Felix did you sleep". I shake my head looking down at my hands as I feel the tears start to form. I was so exhausted and stressed and my emotions were all over the place. "Angel, you need to sleep" he tells me softly. Just then I feel him pick me up, walking us back to his room he places me down softly on his bed. Changing quickly he joins me in bed, bringing me close to his chest.

"Let me tell you a bed time story Angel" he whispers to me, stroking my hair as I get comfortable against his warm skin. "Once upon a time, far away in a magical land there was a boy. He was gorgeous and everyone wanted this boy. All the girls were jealous of his beautiful blonde hair, his perfect body, and most importantly his freckles". I giggle lightly listening to him. My eyes started to finally feel heavy as he continued.

"One day a prince rode into town, ready to marry the fairest maiden but when his eyes fell upon the blonde boy he knew his heart belonged to him. He tried wooing him but the blonde boy was strong, not giving into his attempts. Until one day the prince made a grand sacrifice, the blonde boy finally realized the prince had a heart and went away with him. They lived happily ever after". He leans down kissing me on my head, I was finally able to relax and sleep. But just before I did I whisper out to him, "I love you".

Hyunjins POV

Felix was finally asleep. I watched as his chest rose and fell with his light snores coming from his mouth. I loved this boy so much, I couldn't imagine what he was put through yesterday. My mind began to wander, if I had stayed on that plane I would be dead right now. What or who wanted me to die? The list could go on and on but I knew who it was. My father.

After I got off the plane I called my men to follow my dad, thankfully they weren't on that plane either. But they followed my instructions, giving me an update this morning that he was back in Seoul. He must have known his plan yesterday failed. Coming back to the city is risky but knowing my father he always had a reason.

I let felix sleep for another couple hours, falling asleep myself next to him until my phone started going off again. Waking both of us I take the phone and bring it to my ear, not even looking at the caller ID.

"So you made it out alive" his voice rings out. Snapping awake I sit up, "Seriously Hyunjin you have to get better men, I knew they were following me the second I left" he jokes.

"Father" I growl out. This gets Felix's attention as he sits up next to me grabbing onto my arm. "I told you that boy would ruin you" he hisses out at me "you've gone soft son". Laughing back at him I say "You don't even know what I am capable of". This gains a laugh back from him, "really Hyunjin, you think I don't know you? I made you".

"We can go back and forth forever, lets handle this like men face to face" he says as I look down at Felix, his brown eyes looking back at me. "Name a time and place" I say back confidently.

"Hill house, tomorrow, 7PM" he says back to me, but right before hanging up he says something that makes my blood boil. "Oh and Hyunjin, bring the boy with you, it'll be easier for me to bury two bodies together".
