As of now people see me as any normal girl, and that's what I want of course. But I'm not normal. Not one bit. You see, I have these powers -weird ones. I can move things with my mind and levitate. I can see through the eyes of another person. My eyes go black as well. My parents know about all of this but treat the situation as though they aren't important. The truth is I have lived many lives before, but something tells me I should stick with this one.
My parents had only recently informed me that I was going to attend a boarding school called K-12 Sleepaway School. They stated they think it would be good for me, which was confusing because I never thought there was anything wrong with me in the first place. Well, parents always seem to know what's best for us, right? Anyway, I was given a uniform a week before school had started. The girls' uniform is made up of a pink pleated dress with a silk heart that features "K-12" embroidered onto it around the torso area, and also white puffy sleeves made out of tulle. It was a very pretty dress, but strictly forbidden for anyone else besides a girl to wear it. From what I've heard no boy at K-12 would be caught dead wearing it. Boys were only allowed to wear a specific uniform too, but I wouldn't have to worry about them.
It was the night before my first day at K-12, I was bored and tired. I sat with on my bedroom floor with chin in my hand. I was making a lipstick float, that's when my mom walked in.
"Hey." She beamed. I turned my focus of the lipstick and it fell fast to the ground. I responded.
"Hi. You need anything??"
"No, I just wanted to tell you that you'll have a great time tomorrow. Y'know, you'll make friends and have fun learning." She said this with a big smile, and she look mesmerized. It was as though she was remembering her own school experience.
"Well, thanks for making feel a bit better. I think I'm going to hop in the shower" I stood up.
"Okay. then hun. I'll get out of your way" With that, she left and went to sit at the couch. Meanwhile, I got in the shower.
The rest of the night wasn't essential. I bailed out on dinner; I wasn't all that hungry anyway. I brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and put on the comfiest pajamas I had. I need something comfy for a good night's sleep, I had a long day ahead of me. Afterwards, I set my alarm clock and went to bed. I quickly drifted to sleep.
The morning came quickly. My alarm clock rang, so I got up and turned it off. I walked to the kitchen and was surprised to see that my parents had already beat me to it. I grabbed a plate of toast and ate it happily. Then, I got dressed in my pretty pink uniform which actually ended up being extremely itchy, but it's nothing a tank top won't fix. I brushed my teeth and my hair and finally got my school bag which carried a lot of my supplies like pencils and a pair of scissors. Soon enough, the bus arrived. I hugged my mom and dad and bustled out the door.
The bus was a pastel pink color, and it was so pretty. I walked up to the bus and the bus driver opened the squeaky door. It was very loud. The bus driver was an old man with a grey hat and grey blazer. He was kind creepy looking, he looked like as if he didn't want to be there at all. I didn't question it too much and went to find a seat. There was a lot going on. People were screaming, yelling, pushing each other, jumping around, etc. I saw blue boys and blonde girls and people all looked so...different. They were yet all causing the same racket. Except for two girls, one with pigtails and spilt dyed hair, one side was blonde, and the other side was a mix of blond and pastel. Her pigtails were held together by small, pink ribbon. And one had brown hair. They both seemed sad and tired. There was an empty seat just in front of the two, so I took that seat. I thought I would introduce myself to them, as they seemed pretty lonely, as if they really only had each other.
"Hi! I'm Ryleigh!" I exclaimed. This is the day I like to call The First Day of Hell.
I hope you guys liked the first chapter of this book!! I think I rushed too much, but hopefully it's good. It's pretty short, but anyway BYE!!!!!!!
