That night, Skye, Zuma, Rocky, and Rubble headed back to the Lookout to get some rest. Rubble was heading to his pup house when he saw Rocky, lying down in front of Zuma's pup house.

"Rocky, what on earth are you doing?" Skye, who also noticed it, questioned.

"I need to talk to Zuma," Rocky answered, whimpering.

"Rocky, please! Just give him a little space. You can talk to him in the morning," Rubble told him.

"But what if I wake up tomorrow, and then he's gone?" Rocky asked.

"That's not gonna happen, okay? Just go leave him and get some rest," Skye assured him.

Skye and Rubble left Rocky alone and headed to their pup houses. Rubble noticed a worried look in Skye and didn't mind asking.

"What's wrong, Skye?" Rubble asked.

"A lot..." Skye answered, "First, Ryder is hurt. Second, Marshall is missing, and then we have to hide the fact that he's just missing and not dead. And now, this? Two problems are enough already, Rubble! And now this argument between Rocky and Zuma will add up to it?"

Rubble felt silent as he intently listened to Skye letting out everything inside of her.

"Skye, you're not the only one... We're all trying our best to handle these problems all at once," Rubble told her, "It's not easy. But we're all doing this together."

"Yeah, Rubble... You're right. Should I tell Chase about what happened?"

"We'll figure that out... If they make it up tomorrow, then maybe we won't. Chase has enough problems to deal with already, too," Rubble suggested.

"Okay... Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Good night, Rubble," Skye said, as she entered her pup house.

"Good night, Skye!" Rubble replied, shutting his pup house door.

The next day, Zuma woke up to the sound of Katie preparing breakfast for them. Letting out another yawn, he stood up and opened the door of his pup house, only to get startled by seeing Rocky on the ground in front of his pup house, snoring.

"Whoa! What the- Huh?"

Rocky stopped snoring and opened his eyes, seeing Zuma, staring shockingly at him.

"Oh, good morning, Zuma!" Rocky greeted.

Zuma walked away from him without greeting back, letting out a frustrated look. Rocky frowned and headed to the kitchen as well for breakfast.

On the other hand, Skye was awakened by the sound of her pup tag ringing.

"Hey, Skye! It's Everest!" she heard the voice of her friend coming out of her pup tag.

"Everest? It's too early, why are you up already?" Skye asked, still yawning.

"Sorry to wake you up, Skye! I was just wondering if I could go there today and stay there tonight. Ryder's not picking up his pup pad since last night, so I thought of calling you instead," Everest explained.

Skye was wide awake from what Everest just said. Inside her head, she said, 'Oh, darn it! I forgot that Everest has no idea what happened! What do I do? Should I tell her the truth? Maybe I should ask Chase first. But what do I tell her?'

"Hello? Earth to Skye!" Everest called, noticing Skye, who was silent for quite a while.

"Oh, right... Sorry, Everest! Ryder's pup pad might have, uh... Run out of power. I'll go ask him today, okay?" Skye replied.

"Okay... If he says yes, call me back, okay?" Everest answered.

"Alright!" Skye responded, with a smile.
