Author's note: Hey there, everyone! I'm so sorry this chapter took SO LONG. I know, you've all waited a week for this chapter. I was on and off writing this part, and I barely had the time to get it done. I'll try to post sooner from now on. Enjoy the new chapter! :)

"Knock knock!" Skye called, as she scratched the door to Ryder's room with her paw.

"Who's there?" Chase asked.

"Breakfast!' Skye answered.

"Breakfast who?" Chase questioned, starting to crack up a joke.

"Dude, just open the door or I will-"

"Fine fine fine!" Chase said before Zuma was about to barge through the door.

The five pups came through the door all at once, almost like a stampede. They all end up tripping into each other and tumbling on the floor. Ryder watched his pups coming in while he let out a little chuckle.

"Hey, Pups!" Ryder greeted all of them.

"Oh... Hi, Ryder!" the pups greeted back at once.

"How are you feeling now, Ryder? Feeling better?" Rubble asked as he hopped on the bed.

"Uh, I guess much better than yesterday," Ryder answered, "But about yesterday, I still can't..."

Ryder couldn't finish his sentence, knowing that he would end up crying again in front of his pups if he did finish it. His head gloomily points downwards, letting out a sad sigh.

"About what?" Rubble asked.

The other pups already understood what was going on. Rocky scolded Rubble for asking since it was too obvious already.

"Rubble, common sense... Please?"

Zuma stares at Rocky's face and tries to stop himself from giggling. Rocky's facial expression changes as he exchanges glances at Zuma.

"Zuma?!" Skye scolded, but through a whisper.

"Sorry..." Zuma replied, smiling sheepishly.

"Uhm, can I eat my breakfast... outside?" Chase asked.

Ryder looks up and faces him.

"Sure, Chase... Go ahead," he replied.

"Skye, can you come with me?" Chase asked the Cockapoo, who was sitting there with a melancholic expression on her face.

"Huh? Why?" Skye asked, removing the sad face and changing to a confused look.

"Just come with me..." Chase answered, signaling her with a wink. Everyone else, except Ryder, noticed this and pretended that it was just nothing.

Skye just nodded and agreed to come with Chase outside. When they had left the room, Skye helped out by pouring Chase's pup food into his bowl. As Chase started digging into his food, they both started talking.

"Okay, spill it!" Skye started.

"We gotta tell Everest... Like, now!" Chase replied as he paused on his food, worriedly.

"Now? Then the only way is to just call her. Unless you want her to come here to the hospital," Skye suggested.

"No, I don't want her to come over here. That's too much information already and she might accidentally spill the secret to Ryder," Chase thought, "Maybe calling her is the best idea yet!"

"Okay, then go for it!" Skye agreed.

Chase tapped on his pup tag and it started to glow. Everest's voice was heard through his pup tag.
