Chapter 5: Last Chapter

(Hope's P.O.V)

It has been 2 months since prom. It is the middle of July. Onto my senior year of high school. I turned 17 a few days ago. Dustin hasn't talked me since Prom night. We are no longer friends. My relationship with Luke has grown strong and is very loving. Jacob's funeral was last month. Kylie is 2 months pregnant. Amanda died in a car crash the night of prom, we all almost died that night. We were all in that limo. I broke my leg (it's healed now), Dustin broke both his legs, Greg broke his arm, Lance walked away with some cuts and bruises, Kylie broke her ankle and Amanda got her neck snapped and died instantly. A lot happened in 2 months.

Emily: I'm off to work, Hope are sure you will be okay, I mean you haven't left the house since school got out

Hope: I'm fine (even though I'm dying inside)

Emily: When I get home you better not be in this house! Go and hang out with Luke, he's dying to see you sweetie

Hope: Yeah mom, fine

Emily: I'll see when I get home, love you

Hope: Yeah yeah, love you too

Ever since Amanda died I shut the world out except my family and Luke.

*Phone ringing*

Hope: Hello

Luke: Hey babe, wanna go to the mall or something?

Hope: Sure, just get me out of my house

Luke: Will do, bye

Hope: Bye

It has been 5 months since my birthday, today's date? December 20th, a few days until Christmas. I'm on winter break. I haven't spoken to Dustin since Prom still. I tried but he would go the other way. Luke and I have been dating for 7 months now. Kylie is 7 months pregnant and doesn't go to school anymore. Amanda's family moved away. My grandma died 2 months ago of depression from losing uncle Jacob. My mom took it the hardest. My cousin is 8 months old, she is the cutest thing ever. Her name is Colleen Jacob Locke. Jace and his girlfriend didn't last, they broke up 3 months ago. Gianna has a boyfriend, she's 13.

Emily: Luke's here!

Hope: Hey Luke, what's up?

Luke: I was thinking maybe you want to have dinner over my house Christmas Eve cause I know you have plans Christmas, so will you come with me?

Emily: I think that sounds wonderful

Hope: Mom go!

Emily: Fine, nice to see you again

Hope: Yeah that sounds fun

Luke: Great! Well I have to go with my mom Christmas shopping, I'll call you later

Hope: Oh okay, bye!

It is now May 29th, today is the seniors last day of high school. 5 months since Christmas. Dinner was amazing with Luke's family. I got to meet his 2 older sisters, his younger brother and younger sister. Nothing much has happened since Christmas. Just that I got excepted to NYU (New York University). Luke, Dustin, Kylie, Greg and Lance all got accepted to go there too. I guess this is my last time writing to you for a while, it has been 11 months since Amanda left us. Almost a year and I still miss you Amanda. Until next time. :)

Principal Lily: Congratulations class of Lincoln Monroe High School!!!

Hope: We made it!

Luke: Yes we did babe! *kisses*
