26: Veintiseis 🏴‍☠️

On their way to the villa, Joshua saw the warm streetlights on each road they passed. The surroundings are so quiet that it is almost deafening. Either one of them wants to start a conversation. Joshua has a lot of questions that he wants to ask him, but how?

He observed Heart (Jeonghan) driving calmly, hands on the steering wheel, eyes fixed on the road. However, Jeonghan suddenly moved his hands to his pocket. Joshua turned to the right side to avoid being caught in one's gaze.

Jeonghan saw this and smiled slightly. "Cute"

When he finally found what he was taking in his pocket, he handed it to Joshua.

Joshua turned around to see what it was, and he was offered a chocolate Hershey bar and candy.

"Picked what you like, Sua," he said, waiting for him to choose between the sweets. Actually, both were his favorites, but he prefers vanilla candy to strawberry, so he chose chocolate.

"Oh, chocolate," he said, leaving the other with a confused expression.

"Yes?" Joshua responded.

"Nothing, I'm just curious about the candy you like. So, Sua likes chocolate. May I ask?" Jeonghan continues, drawing the latter's attention.

"But you're already asking," Joshua replied, but not with a grumpy tone.

"Is your name Hershey?" he asked, and Joshua silently mouthed, "Why?" while waiting for his sentences.

"Because you are the sweetest thing in sight," he said, and Joshua's brain reconnected with what he had just said.

'TF is he saying'

"Are you trying to flirt with me? ," he asked, raising his right brows.

"No, Sua, it's a joke. You don't know how to understand a joke, do you? You're getting delusions again," he said, laughing his ass off while still holding the steering wheel. Fortunately, there are no cars in sight, so they have complete control of the road this time.

"What? I believe you are the delusional one!" he said, causing his rage to rise.

"Calm down; I'm just joking," heart said, but after that, they became quiet again. They stayed like this until they arrived at the barista's house.

Joshua was about to reach for the car door handle when he got stopped by Jeonghan. "Wait, I'll open it for you," he said, and he rushed out to open the door for Joshua. On the other hand, Joshua gives him goosebumps and causes him to feel nervous.

'Why is my heart beating so fast? '

When the door opened, Joshua stepped out. Jeonghan even moved his hands to cover the top of the car to avoid getting hit. He never imagined he'd show a gentle side of himself.

A man he believes is not suited to that personality.

"T-thank you," he stuttered as they entered the barista's house. The other responded with a smile, and when they entered, they discovered their other friends in the living room, completely wasted.

"This is messed up," Joshua said subtly, looking around the room.

'What happened to their dinner? Others are already drunk.'

"Finally, the two of you are already here; we finished eating because our intestines couldn't wait for you two to take so long. I don't know where you go from that; it takes 3 hours for you to arrive just now," horseshoe (seungcheol) said, greeting them with sleepy eyes.
