Hashira Christmas party pt. 4 (DAY 13)

'He said we should eat now and he'll just join us later.'

'Well, I'm starving!' Rengoku smiles hungrily.
'Can't you wait a little longner?' Obanai replies scowling. 'Oh, okay I'm hungry aswell.' Mitsuri says sighing. 'Okay let's eat.' Obanai says as he steps up with Mitsuri and they walk over to table. Without thinking, Kyojuro runs to the table and sits on the far end picking up a pair of chopsticks and placing them neatly on his plate. Reluctantly, Giyu walks over to the table and sits down in the middle on the right side of the table. Shinobu takes a seat next to him, not wanting to be left out Sanemi takes the free spot next to giyu, assuming Tengen will be opposite Kyojuro at the other end.

Seating plan :
Right side of the table : Sanemi, Giyu (in the middle), Shinobu the other side of Giyu.
Left side of the table : Obanai at the end, Mitsuri next to him (in the middle), Kyojuro on the far end where Sanemi and Obanai are sitting, opposite Kyojuro is the empty seat reserved for Tengen.

Desperately, Rengoku started taking a few dumplings, picking them up carefully with his wooden chopsticks and Mitsuri took some sushi. Sanemi was glaring at Giyu who just stared at his plate. And Muichiro was staring at the ceiling.
'Can I eat on the sofa?' Giyu says.
'What a way to break the silence.' Obanai huffs while picking up his chopsticks.
'Why? Scared of us or something?' Sanemi says.
'Yeah why do you always sit alone Tomioka-san?' Shinobu points out while taking a dumpling. While they were talking, Rengoku and Mitsuri already ate all of the sushi and steak.

They were done eating and Tengen still hadn't came down so Giyu went to go up and see what he was doing (again).

Giyu knocks on the door, and says,'Hey Uzui? When are you coming down everyone finished eating and we saved you.. some.'
