Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce One Shots

sick day: part two

Addy was resting on the couch with her dad when Taylor came downstairs after getting ready to leave for the day. She walked over to them, gave her youngest a kiss on the forehead and turned to Travis,
"If you need anything, call me. I shouldn't have too much to do today, so I should hopefully be done by the time Bella is out of school."
Travis said okay and gave her a kiss goodbye.
All was going well at home. Addy was sleeping most of the morning and early afternoon, and Travis was focused on comforting her while watching some TV. He was thankful the worst of the sickness was over, and now it was just getting her energy back by sleeping. He gave her medicine when needed, but mainly let her sleep the bug she has off.
While in one of her meetings, Taylor notices her phone ringing, she thought it was Travis at first, but then noticed it was Isabella's school calling. Taylor excused herself to answer the phone.
The school was calling to inform Taylor that Isabella was now sick, and by the sounds of it, sick with the same thing Addy has. Taylor sighed and walked back into the room the meetings were being held at,
"Sorry guys, we're going to have to cut this short. I have to go pick up a sick kid."
She was hoping if Bella was starting to feel sick they would call home instead of her first. The meetings she had to attend really shouldn't be postponed any further. They were pre album release meetings and very crucial, especially when they were just about to set the date when the album should be out, but without her there, it is just going to have to wait. The place her meetings were taking place waldo also a half hour drive from her school, while home is ten minutes.
Taylor drove to her oldest daughter's school and walked into the office. As she walked in, she saw her oldest looking quite pale, obvious she is sick. Taylor internally kicks herself in the butt for feeling bad about the school calling her, mom duties come first now.
"Mama," Isabella said as she saw her mom walk in. She walked over and hugged her mom, relieved that she saw her and can get home.
Taylor walked through the door of her home, and saw her youngest and her husband both asleep on the couch, and she smiled softly. She told her oldest to go upstairs and get ready for a bath, and that she would be up in a minute to help her.
Isabella did what her mother said, and Taylor walked over the couch, first taking a picture of the adorable sight, and the kissing her husband on the forehead to gently wake him up.
Travis opened his eyes and smiled at his wife, then looked at the time,
"Why are you home so early, everything okay?"
"Bella's school called me, she's got the same bug this little one is dealing with." She says and glances over to Addy, who is sleeping so peacefully on her dad's lap.
"Oh Tay, you should have told me, I would have gotten her. I know how important your meetings were today." Travis says sympathetically.
Taylor smiles and shakes her head slightly, "It's all good. Besides, mom duty called and that is way more important right now."
Taylor kissed him once more and got up to help Bella. She helped her bathe, get changed, and into bed. Travis came upstairs with Addy, let her mother give her a hug and kiss, and put her to bed as well.
Taylor and Travis spent the rest of the night together in their bedroom, after eating their dinner, and just laid together. They both knew they had a long night ahead of them, so they wanted to relax as much as they could together before having to teamwork with sick kids.
