Two lines.
Taylor blinked several times, looking down at the stick on her bathroom counter. She couldn't believe she finally saw the two lines.

She and Travis have been married for a year and a half now, the eras tour finally came to an end, and they have decided to start trying for a baby. To finally have a family of their own. It had take them nearly six months to finally conceive and now that she is pregnant, she couldn't wait to tell Travis, and to go through this experience.
Luckily, Travis was at practice today, so Taylor had plenty of time to come up with something to tell him. She wanted to find a simple way to do it. She pulled out her Crikut machine and got to work. She had done a quick target delivery, buying a white onesie, and a cute box to put it in, along with some light pink and blue tissue paper. She put on the onesie the words "dad's number one fan" along with a football with the number 87 on it. She laughed to herself thinking how cliche it was but she knew he would love it. She put the tissue paper in the box, along with the onesie and pregnancy test. Once she was finished with it, she put it underneath the bed to make sure he doesn't see it.

While she was downstairs making dinner, she heard his car pull into the garage. She starts to get nervous and nauseous and didn't know why. She knew he would be excited about it. They have been discussing it for so long and have had quite a few negative tests, so she knew he has been waiting for this to happen just as long as she has. She brushes it off and continues stirring the pot of sauce on the stove.

"Smells good in here," Travis says as he walks into the kitchen, "hi sweetheart" he says and kisses her on the cheek.

"Hi Trav," Taylor says and puts down the wooden spoon to face him.

She looks up at him and gives him a kiss, and holds onto him, starting to feel a bit clingy. She's not sure why, she was fine all day, but now him being home, she didn't want him to be out of her sight. Travis picks up on how she's feeling, and asks if she's okay. She assures him she is, just missed him. He tells her that he needs to shower and change before dinner and she was reluctant to let him go, but ultimately does when he says he will be quick. And he didn't lie, he didn't take very long to shower and change. Once he had come back downstairs dinner was ready and she had already set a plate for him. They both eat while talking about their day.

"So, did you do any fun projects while I was out today?" Travis asked Taylor.

"Not really, just wrote a little bit and the napped." Taylor said, not wanting to give any hints about what she had actually done today.

After dinner they both went upstairs, and once they were settled in bed, Taylor decided it would be the perfect time to give Travis the box. She told Travis to close his eyes and when he did, she placed the box in front of him.

"Tay, are you serious," Travis said with tears in his eyes, holding the onesie.
All Taylor could do was nod her head yes with tears rolling down her face.
"This is everything Tay, I can't wait to see this part of life with you," He says while holding her close and kissing the top of her head. Before they go to bed, he puts the onesie and pregnancy test neatly on his bedside table, wanting to make sure he saw it everyday until their baby was there.

The first couple weeks leading up to Taylor's first ultrasound have not been easy. Morning sickness had come full swing at Taylor. She has found herself basically glued to the toilet or trashcan at all hours of the day. Travis had been so caring for her, making sure she is hydrated and has something in her stomach, as well as holding her hair back. Taylor has never been more grateful for Travis during this time. She appreciates all that he is trying to do for her.
On the morning of her appointment, Taylor woke up and dashed to the bathroom. She absolutely hates this, but keeps telling herself that this part will be over soon and this is just part of the experience. Travis entered the bathroom not that long after Taylor, pulls her hair up and rubs her back. Once she felt like she was okay, he helped her stand up and grabbed her a glass so she could get a drink of water. After all that, they both got ready to go to the first appointment.
