After a long day of preparations and excitement, the time had finally come for the Mehndi ceremony. As I entered my room, I could feel the butterflies in my stomach fluttering with anticipation.

I quickly got ready, adorned in a stunning lehenga, intricately embroidered with gold thread and adorned with sparkling jewels. I wanted to make sure I looked my best for this special day.

As I made my way to the venue, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful decorations and lights that adorned the place

As I made my way to the venue, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful decorations and lights that adorned the place. The venue was nothing short of a fairy tale, with colorful drapes, traditional lanterns, and fragrant flowers adorning every corner.

I could feel my heart racing as I made my way towards the stage, where Raha and Zain were sitting. They both looked stunning, and I couldn't help but let out a small gasp of admiration.

"Ahem Ahem, guys you both look so good MashaAllah," I said, trying to hold back my tears of joy. Raha smiled and thanked me, "Oh Ehmel, you look so beautiful too." I felt a lump in my throat as I replied, "Thank you, Raha. I'm so happy for you both."

I couldn't resist teasing Zain a little, "And jiju, how are you feeling today?" He laughed and replied, "Oh sali sahiba, I'm very happy today." I could see the love and happiness in their eyes, and it made my heart swell with happiness.

As the mehndi ceremony began, Mrs. Tazmeer, called me to get henna applied. "Alright, I'm going to get henna applied now. I will see you guys later," I said, as I made my way to the henna artist.

As I sat down to get henna applied on my hands, my eyes drifted towards Salar, He was busy greeting the guests and looked incredibly handsome in his black sherwani. His perfectly styled hair made him look like he had stepped right out of a Bollywood movie.

"Ma'am, do you want to write someone's name on your hand?" The henna artist asked, interrupting my thoughts

"Ma'am, do you want to write someone's name on your hand?" The henna artist asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah, Salar," I said, without thinking.

After a while, my henna was done and as I was admiring the intricate design, my eyes fell on Salar's name written on my hand. In that moment, I realized that I had subconsciously chosen his name without even realizing it. "Oh my goodness, what have I done?" I thought to myself.

I immediately went to the washroom to wash my hands, hoping to remove his name before anyone noticed. But it was too late, the henna had already stained my hand. As I looked at his name, I couldn't help but remember all the things Salar has done for me, from the day we first met until now. He has always been there for me, even when he didn't like me.

That's when it hit me, I had developed feelings for Salar. "Oh my god, am I in love with Salar?" I said to myself, my eyes welling up with tears. A warm smile spread across my face as I came to the realization that I was indeed in love with Salar Tazmeer.

As I walked back to the event after using the washroom, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. On one hand, I was having a great time with my friends, dancing and laughing. But on the other hand, I couldn't shake off the feeling of awkwardness and shyness whenever I saw Salar.

After that moment of realization, I couldn't focus on anything else. My mind was consumed with thoughts of Salar. I couldn't even look at him without feeling shy and flustered. I tried to ignore him as much as possible, hoping that my feelings would go away. But the more I tried to push him away, the stronger my feelings became.

But as the night went on, it became harder and harder to ignore Salar. He was always around, making jokes and having a good time with everyone. I couldn't help but steal glances at him, but I made sure to avoid any eye contact.
I was too shy and scared of rejection. afraid that my true feelings would be revealed.

But as the night went on, we danced, laughed and enjoyed ourselves. Just when I thought I was successfully avoiding Salar, he came up to me. He stood so close to me that I could feel his breath on my neck. "Ehmel, why are you ignoring me?" he whispered in my ear.

I could feel my cheeks flushing as I tried to come up with an excuse. "Oh, Salar, I'm not ignoring you," I said, avoiding eye contact with him. But he wasn't convinced. "Then why are you not looking in my eyes?" he asked with a serious look.

I could feel my heart racing and my palms getting sweaty. I knew I couldn't keep avoiding him forever, but I was too scared to confront my feelings.

"Salar, it's not like that. Raha is calling me, I have to go," I said, using the excuse to walk away from him. As I walked away, I scolded myself for being so foolish. Why was I ignoring the love of my life? Why couldn't I just tell him how I felt? But I knew deep down that it wasn't that simple. Confessing my feelings would mean risking our friendship, and I wasn't ready to take that chance.
