Goflball smiled as she led the group into the forest, dirt crunching beneath her feet. Tennisball laughed, looking over to her. "Aren't we a bit too deep in the forest? Can't you just get the dirt here?"

"NOPE, it HAS to be from deep in the forest, or my results will be unfair!" She said, holding her head up high.

"Fuck this, I'm leaving." Firey stopped, walking to the exit of the forest. It wasn't long before golfball came bolting after him.

"You promised! You PROMISED you'd help, don't leave!"

Firey didn't listen, continuing to walk until something propelled him back. Sitting back up, dizzy and dazed, he rubbed his head in confusion.
"What the fuck.."

A thin, purple wall, that had not been there before, appeared infront of him. It was translucent, allowing them to see the rest of the forest, but not leave.

Gofball stuttered, staggering back in shock.
"O-oh my.."

"What do we do?" Tennisball walked up behind her, speaking in a soothing tone. The situation was terrifying, but golfball couldn't help but smile at his presence.

"Well- we'll have to find shelter. The forest is massive and could theoretically take days to find a way out of, so we'll have to camp here until further notice. Although, admittedly it would be useful for research on this forest specifically.."

"I uh, think I saw a cave over there." Leafy pointed to a tree-covered mountain, where a grey opening could barely be made out.

The grey sports ball walked closer to the place that leafy had pointed to, a smile growing across her face as she saw it.

"You're right leafy! Okay, me, tennisball, pin, coiny and needle will stay here to set up a shelter, you and firey go get supplies."

Firey's flame suddenly twitched, his eyebrows furrowing in a seething rage.

"I have to go with HER?!"

"No, you can split up if you'd like."

"Well, I'll be splitting up. I dont want to be near an island stealer like her.." he scoffed, before turning on his heel and walking off.

Leafy saw that as her sign to leave, running off into a different direction to try and find anything useful.

The forest was large and dark, not the type that leafy was used to. The trees proudly stood, towering above her. She wasn't sure what supplies Golfball wanted her to get, probably fire wood and rocks.

She suddenly stopped, her eyes widening as she realised that she recognised her surroundings. The pace of her breathing quickened as she staggered back, only to hear a loud thud sound from behind her.

A long, scarred hand suddenly dug it's claws into her wrist, going deeper and deeper until they drew blood. Leafy let out a yelp, her eyes widening as she was thrown at a nearby tree.

"Even death won't save you from me, leafy."

The leaf sobbed, her hand over her wrist in an attempt to protect her exposed flesh. The, "thing," walked up towards her, grabbing the side of her head and pulling until it ripped off. Leafy let out a cry of pain, blood spewing out of her head like a faucet.

"Help.. help me, please.. I don't want to die.." she choked on her own breath, barely able to move even as she saw the red leaf pick up a nearby rock. "NO, NO PLEASE!"

Leafy screamed as it was thrown onto her leg, shaking as the red leaf disappeared. Her vision slowly faded out, until she was barely even conscious. The only thing she could think of was the unbearable pain, and how badly she wanted it to be over.

Firey trudged through the forest, picking up as many supplies as he could. He smiled to himself, what a great idea it was to leave that island stealer! This would be going so much slower if she was here.

His flame suddenly twitched, causing him to stop. A scream rang out from deeper in the forest, a horrific, pained scream. The small ball of fire stood, wondering for a brief moment what to do before running off in that direction.

A horrific sight met his eyes, as he slowly realised what had happend. Leafy sat at the edge of the tree, her breathing pained and shallow as she looked up at firey. Her eyes were heavy, nearly shut, making it obvious that she was barely conscious.

The flame hated her, he knew that, but he couldn't just leave her like this. With a sigh, he walked towards her, gently pushing the rock off her leg and picking her up by the arms.

"Ow-"

"Sorry, sorry. I'm going to get you help, you'll be okay."

Leafy shut her eyes, finally giving into the pain and passing out. His eyes widened as he cursedunder his breath. "Shit!" Firey tightened his grip, leaving the area as quickly as he possibly could.

Golfball sat at the entrance to the cave, writing down something in her notes. To say this forest was supposed to be, "dangerous," it was awfully tranquil. Soon, firey came running out of the forest. Golfball hummed in acknowledgement of him as he caught his breath.

"It's leafy - she's hurt!"

"WHAT?" Golfball jumped to her feet, panic in her eyes. "Take me to her."

Firey nodded, grabbing golfball and running to where he'd left leafy. By now, the bleeding had significantly slowed, but she was stillunconscious. Her breath was slow and pained, and she flinched every few seconds from the agony.

"Oh my. Those are... quite the injuries!" A small, awkward chuckle escaped the small sport ball. "Go get me the medkit."

Doing as she said, firey ran off, re-entering with a small, red box in his arms. Golfball took it off of him, opening it and taking out as many bandages as possible. She wrapped them around any injured parts of her body, before sighing and standing up.
"She'll be okay for now, take her back to camp."
