Secrets Beneath The Tombstone

After ten minutes John B had finally managed to convince Kiara to join the rest of the Pogues on their journey to the old cemetery where "Olivia Redfield" was laid to rest. As they drove down towards the cemetery, Marley secured her head torch in place, ready to explore the dark surroundings. Meanwhile JJ rolled a blunt as he pleaded to sit out.

"You mind if I just relax on this one? It's been a long day, and a lot of weird stuff's gone down. I'm just gonna lay low. Oh, did you want a hit of this?" JJ said as he taunted Pope as he waved in front of his face.

"I keep the signal clear." Pope responded rolling his eyes.

"Dude, okay. Do you understand that your problem is that you don't get creative? If you got creative then-" JJ spoke until John B cut him off.

"Look, I- I know I was wrong about the light house alright? And pretty much wrong about everything else going on. But I was right about one thing. Okay? My dad is trying to tell me something." John B ranted on, while he gazes out of the windshield.

The Twinkie pulled to a stop, and they had finally arrived at the cemetery. They parked, hidden by the trees, and then hopped a fence. Slowly, they made their way towards Olivia's tombstone.

"Hey, come on." John B hurried as he carefully navigated over the thorny branches, making sure not to get scratched.

"I'm coming. This place is scary." Kiara whispered. "JB, what are we doing?"

Marley's voice trembled with fear as she expressed her frustration, "This is so ridiculous, I'm gonna kill you if I see a spider, John-"

"Shhh!"

"Don't shush me, John!" Marley rolled her eyes, but then, JJ held out his blunt to Marley, she accepted the offer, taking a hit from the blunt. After enjoying the moment Marley passed it back to JJ. "Thanks Jay."

"Shut up! You know how you're trying to remember a song and can't remember who sings it?" John B, explained.

"Yeah."

"So, Redfield. This whole time, I thought it was a place, right? But it's not a place. It's it's a person." John B stated as he held his light up against the carved letters that spelt 'Olivia Redfield' across the abandoned mossy tombstone. "See, my great-great-grandmother Olivia Redfield. That was her maiden name. Help me with the door come on."

As the teens approached the tombstone door, JJ exclaimed, "Marley, there's a spider!"

Marley shrieks asking, "Where?" Her eyes darting around, searching her surroundings for the eight legged creature. But then, JJ bursts into laughter, as Marley smacks the back of his head, saying, "I fucking hate you JJ!"

"Mhm, yeah? You hate me?" JJ smirked.

Pope chimed in, "Hey, could you guys stop flirting and help us open the door?" JJ's smirk vanished due to Pope's interruption.

"You're just jealous Pope." JJ jokes, The Pogues tried to heave the door open, but suddenly a snake slithered out.

"That's a moccasin, all right. Ye olde Dr. Cottonmouth. Death in tall grass." JJ spoke with a silly accent, thinking quickly, he started barking at it, trying to chase it away.
