Earth is a land of beauty, pain, and more. It consists of many species. But the main ones are:
-Humans -Angels -Openers -Demons
Humans roam Earth as they wish. Although it's not ideal, they have a strict justice system and many social rules that is agreed by the whole human race to follow without question. Although some chose not to.
Some Humans were souls who have already past/lived once before. Some entities can sometimes be given a chance to be reincarnated as a human or another earthly being. (Such as animals.)
Angels are creatures of pure light. Some are souls who have ready passed on and regained a new identity as an angel. And others were born in the STARS. And raised there. Sometimes, though it's rare, Angels will appear on Earth for a couple reasons.
Such as: One, they are sent to earth as a punishment by the One. (A God and Main controller and Ruler of this world.) Two, they chose to go to Earth for a mission or to stop the evil bestowed upon the earth. This can happen when evil from the underworld leaks into Earth, or when a demon is sent to Earth.
Openers are creatures that cannot be explained. They are beings that appear to the human eye as black siluets. Having no face or light being given off. They appear only to certain people and for very specific reasons that are not known nor specified. Like demons, they feed on fear, sadness, and negative emotions. They cannot hurt anyone or be touched/touch anyone/anything. If aproched they will disappear.
Demons can appear on Earth for reasons like Angels. One, for missions. Though they are mostly political opisits of Angels. Looking to feed on the negative emotions of the world. Some use it so they can thrive on Earth. Some use it to give to Nine. (The ruler of the Underworld). So that they can be given a chance to be reincarnated and live a more honest life to get into the STARS. And some use Earth as a passover/portal to get to the STARS.
The Beyonds is a realm beyond Earth. (Hence, the name "The Beyonds"). The Beyonds is a realm of many species. More than any other realm. Unlike the others, it does not have a ruler. But 4 different lands near the 'corners' of the Earth.
