I was waiting for my blind date to arrive and he is 20 mins late already.
I tried chatting my friend Caela but the girl isn't replying to my chats.
Caela is my bestfriend since we we're kids, She's the one who set this blind date for me. I tried calling her several times but the bitch is not answering her phone. Damn you Caela!
I was typing a message when a man appeared in front of me. I looked up only to see a good looking man. He has those gorgeous brown eyes,thin and pink kissable lips,pointy nose,and almost perfect jawline! Gosh,he looks like an ancient god!
"Hi, is this Hail Tamaki?" I was taken out of breath when he speak and ask me with his cold yet soft voice. Umayos ako ng upo at sinagot siya...
"Uh,yes? are you Maximus Ignacio?" I asked too at tumango lamang siya. "A-ah,upo ka" i offered kasi naman kanina pa siya nakatayo sa harap ko!
He sat silently at the chair in front of me. We are facing each other and i can't help not staring at him! Gosh, how can god made someone this perfect? how unfair naman! He look at me kaya agad naman akong nag-iwas ng tingin. I can't stand those brown eyes look at me. Is this the 'love at first sight' they're talking about? how come that i like him so easy when the fact that i met him just minutes ago?
We were silent for minutes na para kaming mga tangang sumusulyap sulyap sa isa't isa not until the waiter stop in front of us asking what we will have.
"Ma'am, Sir ano pong order n'yo?" The waiter asked while holding a mini notebook.
"Uh, i'll have salad and orange juice na please." I told the waiter and he quickly wrote my order which is salad and a glass of juice lang kasi I'm on a diet for my upcoming cloth endorsement.
"Sir?" Tanong ng waiter sa lalaking nasa harapan ko na agad namang sumagot.
"I'll have your steak and a glass of wine." Tipid nitong sabi sa waiter na siya namang isinusulat ang order niya.
"Is that all your order ma'am,sir?" Tanong ulit niyo saamin.
"Yes." Sagot ni Maximus.
"Okay, just wait for a minute and we'll ready your meal sir, ma'am"
Sandaling katahimikan ang bumalot saamin nang makaalis na ang waiter. Not until tumikim siya at nagtanong.
"So, hi I'm Maximus ford Ignacio 23 y/o nice meeting you Hail " He introduced his self while looking direct in my eyes. Damn! how can he look at me so calm whem my whole system is shaking because of his stares but i manage to control myself.
"I'm Hail Arkiana Tamaki and im also 23. Nice meeting you too Mr.Ignacio " I introduced myself too not showing the shakey hands when i offer my hand for a handshake.
My whole system went crazy when his hand touches mine.
"Stop the formality Hail, im not here for business" He said still holding my hand.
Maya-maya pa ay dumating ang order namin at tahimik kaming kumain. We talked a bit about our lives and shared some problems. It's funny that i manage to open-up on him, Maybe because i am comfortable around him. Actually, he is fun to be with. He is funny, gentleman, and I'm happy with him.
I was having a great time talking to him when my phone suddenly rang.
I looked at the caller id only to find out it was my father so i mute my cellphone.
"Hindi mo ba sasagutin ang phone mo? kanina pa kasi ring ng ring," OMG?! did he notice my phone?
"Baka importante eh"
"It's nothing." I answered smiling at him.
"Ahh, okay."
We talked a bit more before i decided to call it for a day. Hinatid niya ako sa parking area kung saan nakaparada ang kotse ko. He offered to take me home but i refuse telling him that i had my own car with me.
"Can i have your number?" He asked that made my heart skip a beat.
"Ah, sure." I borrowed his phone and type my phone number on his phone.
"Thanks" He said bago tumalikod habang nakangiti.
Pumasok ako loob ng kotse at nakangiting nag- drive pauwi sa condo ko nang madatanan ko si Caela na nakaupo sa sofa habang kumakain ng chichiriya.
"Arkie! Andyan ka na pala!" Sigaw nito bago pumunta palapit saakin,
"Kumusta yung date? " Tanong niya agad saakin.
"Okay naman" Sabi ko feeling a bit tired because of driving.
"Kumusta yung guy?" Tanong niya ulit habang tinatanggal ko ang aking sapatos.
"Gwapo, and he is fun to be with." I told her remembering Ford. He told me to call him Ford.
"Oyy! ano yang ngiti na'yan?!"
"What? ngiti? what are you talking about?"
"Hoy Hail Arkiana Ramoz Tamaki kanina ka pa nakangiti habang kinikwento mo yung si Mr.Pogi!" Am i smiling while talking about him?
"Guni-guni mo lang 'yon" i denied.
"Sige,deny mo lang"
I was about to answer her when my phone vibrate from my bag. I'm not going to answer sana when i noticed that the caller is an unknown number. Who could it be? Could it be Ford? .
"Hello?"
"Hi Hail, this is Ford" He said in a husky cold voice.
"F-ford?" Why i am trembling?
"Yes?" He answered back.
"Bakit ka napatawag?" I asked him again.
"Wala lang, i miss you."
W-what?!
