Angelica was always somewhat of a hopeless romantic. She always hoped to have her picture perfect boyfriend in an insane scenario, but that was always a little impossible when the world was on your ass to get a boyfriend and constantly shipping you with every single boy you've ever known.
Angelica always attempted to shut out boys due to the constant pressure to date them which regularly ruined her friendships. So by the time she was seventeen years old, she had only dated one boy who broke up with her because of social media berating him for anything he'd do.
Ange was always bound to have her celebrity crushes who she may or may not have been obsessed with, but she knew those were just silly crushes that weren't going to get her anywhere.
Angelica was so sure that she could talk to a boy that she once had a crush on without ever liking him, but she was apparently wrong, because look at where she is now.
She was quite happy without a boyfriend that the internet was so sure she had to depend on, so her personal goal was to never fall for any boy that would most definitely get bullied by social media, and just save herself the trouble of getting herself hurt again, again and again.
So to Angelica's surprise, what would happen if her 'silly crush' actually began texting her, and to her mistakes, she begins texting him back.
He makes it his number one priority to win over her heart, no matter what it takes for her to trust him. And he will not give up.
