End of flashback from chapter 3

After that, their family ended up adopting me.

I was happy to finally have a family that actually cares about me.

My eldest brother, USA, ended up living with my new parents again. As they adopted me.

Mainly because he knew how UK treats his family. Especially as he had experienced UK's coldness.

USA could already tell that I was going to be the new outcast of the family. Especially on the way I acted and that I'm not biologically related to them.

Seven years later...

For some reason, while my big brother Ame (Her nickname for USA) was taking care of me, he wanted me to meet the new neighbors kids.

I don't know why he wants me to...

Ambrosia: "Brother?

USA: "Yes Ambrose?" (His nickname for Ambrosia)

Ambrosia: "Why do you want me to meet the new neighbor's kids?"

USA: "Well..." he paused for a moment "I want you to have some friends that you can be close to, because when I go back to my country to work on some government stuff, you seem to get very lonely."

He continued

"Because of that, I have a playdate set up for you tomorrow with them. But after I finish baking the queen cakes, we're going to head over and give the dessert as a "Welcome to the neighborhood" gift."

Ambrosia: "I don't need friends, I'll be okay on my own. Anyways, I'll always have you." She said with a nervous smile

USA: With sincerity in his voice "That's the thing, Ambrose, you won't always have me... I want you to find people that you can be close with, that isn't me."

Ambrosia: "But, I don't want you to leave me..."

I paused

I was on the verge of tears...

Anger built up in my thoughts. My own brother, the one who mainly took care of me for the last seven years of my life...

Was going to leave me?! I exclaimed in my head

That's so unfair of him-

Doesn't he know I need him?!

I started to bawl my eyes out

I was so upset, I wanted him to know that he couldn't leave me. Of how unfair it is of him to leave me when he's the one I depend on.

A look of concern spread across his face

He kneeled down and tried to hug me but I pushed away, he made eye contact with me and he could see the look of anger that built up in my eyes. So he came closer to me and tried to hug me again this time saying:

USA: "Let it all out..."

I didn't want to hurt him, but I was so upset.
