Cady Heron was her name, Cady, pronounced like Katie, and Heron, sort of pronounced like the illegal street drug, Heroin.
Today is her very first day at North Shore High, she's been homeschooled for as long as she can remember, but that's all about to change.
It's 9am, September 18, 2023, Cady set foot into the gates of North Shore with no clue what was in store for her.
She enters her homeroom class and sits down in a seat up the back of the class, she's introduced by the principal, Mr Duvall.
"Caddy Heron, is there a Caddy Heron in here?" He asks as he scans the classroom with his eyes.
Cady raises her hand slightly "uh, that's me." Cady smiled "and it's pronounced like Katie."
"Apologies Miss Heron, I will take note of that." He says.
"Class, you will move classrooms in between-" Mr Duvall is cut off by the sound of the bell.
"That." He points to the bell.
Cady shuffles out of her seat and paces to her locker, she walks through the halls, there's so many different people here, all shapes and sizes, nothing like she'd ever seen before.
Out of nowhere, someone slams her locker door.
"Hey your that new chick, Caddy right?" A girl with dark short hair and eyeshadow asks Cady.
"Be nice." A taller guy next to her whispers.
Cady stutters slightly "It's pronounced Katie, I just moved here, from Kenya." She says while smiling and trying to be as nice as possible.
"Yeahhh I'm gonna call you Caddy... well I'm Janis, and this is Damien, he's almost too gay to function, and we wanna help you." She says.
"Me? Why me?" Cady asks.
"Your new, obviously, and Damien is a part of some weird little gay helping new students program, something something I forget, so he helps new students and I just tag along." She smirks.
"Oh uh, sure okay, I guess you could help me." Cady shrugs
"Awesome, so we're your official guides to North Shore, you wanna ask about any student, come to us, we've got all the info and the tea about everybody." Janis says.
"Okay thankyou." Cady smiles.
"So.. it's lunchtime, the big question, who are you gonna sit with?" Damien asks.
"Start you off real easy, you've got your J.V. Jocks, Corny Horny Band Geeks, Mathletes, Burnouts, Theatre Kids.." Damien smiles as he waves to one of the boys in the theatre kids clique.
"Who are they ..?" Cady asks, pointing to a table with a brown haired girl and a dark brunette girl.
"Them? We call them the plastics, because they're cold, hard, shiny and fake, and they fucking destroy your life." Janis laughs.
Cady looks confused, concerned and shocked all in one.
A dark shadow shades the cafeteria hall, lights flicker.
"Oh god- It's the queen bee! Do NOT look her in the eyes!!" Damien shouts.
Janis and Damien sprint to their table, leaving Cady very, very confused.
"Ah shit we just left her there-" Janis says trying to figure out how to get Cady to come to their table.
Cady doesn't see their signals, she's in pure utter shock at the sight right before her eyes.
A girl with wavy blonde hair, black leather pants, black heel shoes, a leather jacket with nothing underneath slowly walks into the cafeteria, everyone either hiding or in awe.
