Someone Gets Hurt (Regina x Cady)

a night to remember pt.2

Cady's body jolted awake at a sudden time, it was still dark, she looked at the clock beside the bed.

'3:36am' she read on the clock.

She almost forgot whose bed she was in, she turned her head around just to see none other than Regina George right beside her, sleeping peacefully.

She looked so graceful when she slept, like an angel, like a goddess even.

What a weird thing for Cady to think... I'm sure it's nothing...

It was pouring rain outside, and thundering.

Cady couldn't sleep, she decided to scroll through instagram on her phone.

A voice whispers beside her.

"What are you doing up?" Regina asks.

"The thunder woke me up, I was scared and I couldn't sleep..." Cady sighs.

"Surely you had thunder in Africa or Kenya or wherever it is your from..? What did you do to go back to sleep then?" Regina whispers, her voice slightly raspy.

"Well when I was a bit younger, my mum or my dad would spoon me until I went to sleep .. but obviously that's not like ... what you'd do.." Cady laughed quietly.

"I do this with my friends all the time, lay down." Regina demands.

Cady turns off her phone and lays down, not facing Regina.

Cady slowly feels an arm wrap slowly around her body and pulling her in.

"Is this okay?" Regina whispers.

Cady nods.

It wasn't long at all before they both very quickly drifted back off to sleep, completely ignoring any sounds of thunder or rain.

Cady's mind was so convinced that this was a totally normal thing for friends to do.

Yes... she thought it was totally platonic to get spooned by your new hot "friend" who's keeping you safe from thunderstorms.
