Once upon a Time....
A girl met a beast who was cursed to have his outside reflect his insides, they fell in love the curse was lifted and everything was happily ever after....
But then the kingdoms decided it was time for a change and decided to bring kingdoms from far and wide together to create the great society, "The United States of Auradon". The place where magic is only used to benefit others and not for selfish gain, where the first responders are only needed if someone forgets to return a library book. After being brought together they put all their strength into rounding up all of the villains, lackeys, and general bad people and putting them on an island where they cant hurt anyone or thing , and put up a barrier to keep them in, luckily no one can be hurt in the barrier so there's no chance of anyone...dying. Food and materials are shipped over by each kingdom every month so they are well fed and safe.... At least that's what I was taught.

I stood as still as I possibly could, as our royal tailor, Lumiére uses his fingers to guide the needle and thread through the seams of my suit. Thought I wasn't moving a muscle my mind couldn't help but wander as I looked off the balcony and at the cloudy rock that was "the isle of the lost".

I was taught only the worst of the worst are taken there, true monsters, but I didn't, I wouldn't believe that it was true, because there were innocents on the isle.
He knew for a fact that most if not all of the villains on the isle have their own children and those children are only there because of who their parents are.
But that changes, in just a few months, I be will officially be crowned king of Auradon, of course you may be wondering, if his dad was elected then shouldn't there be another election to take place? usually yes, but with Auradon once someone is elected their bloodline will continue to hold the title until probable cause is given to have a new ruler elected. Now it's my turn to take up the mantle and take the reins.
Seeing as the time for his crowning is rapidly approaching, he has been given certain responsibilities and abilities only he can exercise, like his royal decrees.
