After indulging in various sugary confections, we visit a stall, which requires us to toss a ping pong ball into plastic cups, set in a row. If we manage to clear a streak without failing even once, we're offered a prize from a wide variety of goods; including a large teddy bear, K-pop glow sticks and other interesting merch.

Despite numerous attempts at the game, we somehow manage to fail each and every single round, the skeleton, running the kiosk, even taking pity on us, by offering more treats, as compensation. To spare our dignity from such humiliation, we left with our heads held high and a lot more goods in our stock.

I'm then dragged to the dance floor, where the vast majority of students are chatting, flirting and grooving, beneath a revolving disco ball, which happens to change color, every time the tune alternates; an occurrence seen more often than not.

Uneasiness preamble my humor; sardined between scads of clammy bodies, I'm then shoved against a twerking mermaid, who I coyly apologize to, before feeling Ollie gyrate against me.

"Come on Freya, dance with me!" She raises an enliven shout, once "Disturbia" hits the tracks, her dress sparkling, as she rocks her hips dynamically.

"I'm not much of a dancer..." I say, throwing back my head, once Ollie grips my wrists and hauls me forward.

"Come on. You weren't much of a singer too and look what happened!" she smiles and I giggle, as I'm hectically spun around.

"I suppose you might have a point there..."

"Right!?" My friend makes a point of noting down.

"Now come on, unless you're hoping to bury yourself in a sea of drenched bodies."

"Ew, no thank you" I chuckle.

"No kidding!" my friend comments in turn.

With a sigh, I slowly gain the courage to sway my hips, following Olivia's footsteps and her smile expands, as if witnessing my sudden growth spurt.

"See, you're getting the hang of it..." my friend cheers, letting go, before throwing her hands in the air and capering maniacally.

I laugh, while continuing to emulate her movements and it doesn't take long before we're finally consumed by the drug embedded in the music. There's an exhilarating feeling which accompanies this thrilling moment, as we find ourselves yelling like a bunch of hippies, grinding against each other and twirling, like there's no tomorrow, the only thing flowing through our veins being the beat in the track, the synergy in the room and the heat radiating off our bodies.

At some point, I end up losing sight of Olivia, but the euphoric feeling beguiles me to carry on parading with other peers, singing along to songs I would never be caught listening to regularly and soon, I feel someone's arms circling my waist from behind.

Lost in the moment, I allow the person to strain their weight against my body, as I sway my hips, driven by this rampant surge of energy, before feeling their lips grazing my cheek, prompting me to tilt my neck, in a fit of giggles, bonded by whatever spell the music casted upon me.

The magic of the moment soon fizzles, prompting me to lower my gaze, only to be mesmerized by an entirely new specimen. Blue, skeptic eyes, peer at me from across the room, snapping me back to reality and it doesn't take long for shame to gnaw my being, upon realizing my shameless state.

Despite the number of people hoarding the gym, Reed is the only person to seize my attention. With a cocky grin, he sways his head, swiftly fleeing out of site, and I recoil from the stranger's embrace, pushing past the crowd, for the one my heart was yearning to see all night.
