Family Dinner

When Keiya got Todoroki's message, they thought they couldn't believe their ears.

"Non-formal family dinner at Endeavor's house?" They asked incredulously. "I hope that his face lands in the mashed potatoes."

At hearing that comment, Dabi chortled. "I think you've had a bad influence on your kid." Shigaraki sighed. Aizawa overheard them. "No, no. He hasn't taught them to swear."

"Oh, and we all have to bring a plus one." Todoroki announced. Midoriya, Shigaraki and Tokoyami froze. "...Wait." They all said simultaneously.

"Shoto, we've only been on a few dates! Isn't it too soon?" Midoriya asked, concerned. Shoto shrugged it off. "It's alright. We're at the right stage." "Yeah, YOU are." Shigaraki groaned. "It's going to be so awkward for Natsuo. Dating an ex-villain?" "Well, I'm an ex-villain and I'm married to a Pro Hero. The Number 3, to be precise. So what's your point?" Dabi interjected. 

"I'm aroace! I don't have a plus one!" Toga panicked.

Meanwhile, Tokoyami and Keiya were busy in their own conversation.

"Does Endeavor know that you're non-binary?" "Yes" Keiya said. "But if he didn't accept me, we would have kicked him out." They smirked. 

Across the room, Bakugou grinned. "Katsu, please tell me that you didn't teach Keiya any insults." Kirishima groaned, noticing his face. "Cinnabon asked. They must hate the flaming trash that much." Bakugou replied. "Ok. But you didn't teach them to swear, right?" Kirishima was met with a smirk.

"...You did." Bakugou gave him a look. "Eiji, do you really think that I'd corrupt Cinnabon?"

"Oh thank God."

"Here we go." Dabi groaned, pressing the doorbell.

Everyone except for Endeavor, Rei, Hawks, Fuyumi, her girlfriend and Natsuo was at the door. It opened, and the group was met with Rei's smiling face.

"Hello, dears! We're so glad you could make it. Come in!" She said, opening the door fully. After some people put their coats on a rack, and put on slippers, everyone took a seat in the large living room, where Mirko and Hawks were already sitting. "Hey, guys." Hawks said, giving his family a hug. Rei did the same with her sons, grandchildren and Izuku. She also shook hands with Tokoyami, and bumped elbows with Shigaraki.

"Now, the food's not ready yet. So could I get to know some of you?" Rei asked. A nod from everyone confirmed it.

"Well, I already know Izuku, Mirko and Hawks. Himiko, so nice to see that you brought a friend." Rei already knew Toga was aroace, so told her to just bring a friend. "It's a pleasure to be here, Mrs. Todoroki." Uraraka said. "Oh, just call me Rei, dear! Now, you're Shigaraki, right?" She asked. He silently nodded, sweat forming at his brow.

"Hey, guys. Food's almost ready." As if he was summoned, Natsuo walked in and sat down. The instant he sat on the couch, Shigaraki wrapped his arms around him. "Yeah, he's not a big talker. But he's glad to be here!" Natsuo explained. "I'm sorry, honey. I didn't mean to put you on the spot like that." Rei said. After a nod from Shigaraki, she turned to Tokoyami. "I don't know your name, what is it?" She asked. "Tokoyami Fumikage, but you can just call me Fumikage." He said. "Nice to meet you, dear. Welcome to the family!" 

The introductions were stopped when Endeavor poked his head in. "Dinner's ready."

Everyone filed into the room and took their seats. Everyone sat next to their plus ones, and Endeavor and Rei sat opposite to each other.
