Finally, Monday's session of torture and torment had ended and I was free to do whatever I-

My thoughts were interrupted by my obnoxiously loud Kim Possible ringtone.

* unknown caller *

I was obviously intrigued and decided to answer the phone, hearing a slightly familiar voice come through.

"Hey, it's Kyle. Jordan gave me your number."

"Oh," My voice perked up a little bit and a small smile appeared across my lips, "what's up?"

"I have no clue what I want to film for my MDE video today, so I was wondering if you wanted to collab."

"Yeah, of course!" I replied, beyond ecstatic.

"Great! So, my house?"

"Yeah, sounds good."

"Cool, I'll text you the address."

"Kay, I'll head over right now."

"Got it. See ya' soon Eva."

Eva. The way he said it just sounded so... natural, fitting, if you will.

"Yeah, see ya' Kyle." I smiled, keeping my phone in my hand as I awaited Kyle's address.

"Eva!" I heard Kyle's familiar voice as I pulled my car into the driveway of his house to see him walking towards me.

"Hey Kyle." I smile as I step out of my car and immediately pulls me into a hug. "Missed me, huh?" I giggle.

"You could say that. But anyways, I had an idea for our video."

"Do tell..." I ask, curious.

"I was thinking we could do the 'Charlie Charlie challenge', but we exaggerate it and make it seem like its real."

"I like how you're thinking." I trail off as we walk into his house and up the stairs to his filming room.

He quickly sets up the camera and lights while I write the yeses and nos, balancing the two pencils on top of the lines as Kyle sits down next to me.

"Hey guys, what's up? So today I will be doing the Charlie Charlie challenge with-" He makes up silly hand gestures, indicating that I should speak.

"Evangeline!" I use 'angel hands' underneath my chin.

"So we already have the 'board' set up so let's get started!"

We start off the video, asking 'Charlie' a few questions about various My Digital Escape members.

"Charlie, Charlie, will Jordan marry Yoshi?" I ask and discreetly blow on the pencil so it turns and lands on yes.

"Tune in next week for the marriage of Jordan and Yoshi here on My Digital Escape." We both laughed a little bit before purposely making the challenge take a 'turn for the worst'.

"So Charlie, we hear you're a pretty violent guy... Charlie, Charlie, do you want to kill us?" Kyle asks, and of course makes it land on yes once again.

"Why the hell would you ask that?!" I say in a faux, panicking tone of voice.

"C'mon Eva, it's a fake game, it's not like he's going to actually try to kill us." He nods his head, cuing me to pull on the plug of the lamp he had set up.

The lamp falls down onto the floor, a hair away from hitting the camera and we both try to look as genuinely scared as we can. Which may or may not have included me clutching onto his chest...

I can see the ship name comments already.

"Let's just end the game." I suggest, still holding onto him and he nods a yes. "Wait, how are we supposed to end it?" I finally 'remove' myself from his grasp, smoothing out my shirt.

"Uh, I think we just ask." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Charlie, Charlie, can we stop." Feeling especially evil, we left the pencil rest over 'no'. "Nope, nope, nope, nope." I took the pencils off of the board and walked over to Kyle's window, throwing the pencils outside while Kyle filmed me doing so. "Problem. Solved." I turned around and Kyle tossed the camera on the floor before turning it off.

"Great acting." He smiled lightly, examining the camera.

"Why thank you." I smiled back, bowing twice.

"Uhm, I was wondering if you wanted to have an editing 'party', and possibly sleepover, with Alex, Johnnie and Bryan." He set the camera back down on the table, using air quotes around 'party'.

"Yeah, I'll call my mom real quick." He nodded and I dialed up my mom.

-•-•-•-•-•-

Of course the phone call took longer than I had expected since I had to explain what an 'editing party' was and who Alex, Johnnie, Bryan and Kyle were. And the fact that my mom had to explain every bit of gossip her and her friends were talking about since they were, of course, out at a bar of some sort.

"Yeah, sure. Just call me later so I know you're safe. Bye sweetie."

"Bye mom."

"So what'd she say?"

"She said that it was fine. I just need to pick up some stuff from home."

"Cool. I'll call them over right now." He says, picking up the lamp from off of the floor.

"I'll be back." I say in my best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression, making him laugh.

I walk back up Kyle's driveway with my backpack slung over my shoulder. I ring the doorbell and I hear a mass of people run towards the door and I'm first greeted by Alex, the others following right behind her.

"Let's get this editing party on the motherfucking road!" Bryan yells, fist pumping before walking back into what I presume is the kitchen. "We got some Chipotle!" I lick my lips, setting my stuff down by the front door before walking into the kitchen and grabbing some food.

"So what'd you guys do for the video?" Johnnie pipes in.

"The Charlie, Charlie challenge." I say while chewing my food.

Being lady-like isn't my forte, okay?

"That's so boring." Bryan says, shoving his burrito in his mouth.

"No it's not." Kyle counters, a slight smirk playing upon his lips.

"Can you guys shut your damn mouths so I can eat?" Alex plasters her 'unamused' expression on her face, making the boys instantly shut up.

"You have to teach me how to do that." I act surprised in how she got them to get quiet.

"It really works on these two." She points to both Johnnie and Kyle. "Brian never shuts his fucking mouth." She laughs and we all return to our 'normal' conversations.
