What's wrong?
You:
Can you come over? I'd rather talk about it in person.

Be over in 10
"Mom! I'm going to wait for Alex outside on the front porch!" I yell, running down the stairs.
"Who's he?"
"She!" I yell before opening and closing the front door, phone in hand, before sitting down on the stairs to wait for Alex.

"Eva!" I look up from my phone to see Alex's red hair as she runs towards me.
"Alex!" I stand up from the stairs and she immediately hugs me.
"So whaddya need help with exactly?" She asks, sitting down on the stairs and I join her.
"Boys." I state bluntly and she laughs.
"Any boys in particular?" She wiggles her eyebrows a little, making me smile.
"Kyle."
"Our Kyle?"
"Mhm."
"What happened?" She asks, sounding a tad bit concerned.
"Well, I mean, we, uhm-"
"You what?!" She yells, cutting me off.
"We almost kissed." I look to my right to see Alex with her eyes wide.
"You're kidding me."
"Sadly, no." I awkwardly laugh.
"Details."
"So he was over at my house like ten-ish minutes ago and we were supposed to be working on a project. I took his beanie and long story short, he took it back from me and put my own beanie on me. Then he starts leaning in, so I do as well and then my mom walks in and Kyle says that he has go home, so he left. Then I called you up, and now we're here."
"So you were just leaning in 'cause he was?"
"I mean, I guess?" I say in a question-like tone.
"I guess the real question at hand is if you really like him or not..." She trails off.
"Yeah..." I look down at the ground.
"So do you?"
"Do I-"
"Like him."
"I-I don't know." I shake my head, rubbing my eyes gently.
We sit for a while, in silence, before she speaks up again, "So... This might not be the best time to bring this up Kyle's birthday, but-"
"No, no, it's fine." I look over towards Alex as she speaks.
"I was just wondering if you would still be able to and want to help out."
"I mean, yeah, yeah, I'll help out and stuff. Just let me know what we're doing."
"Evangeline, time for dinner!" I hear my mom yell from inside the house.
"Hey, hey, uhm Alex I was wondering if you wanted to come back over to help me film a video and maybe collab or something?"
"Yeah, of course!" She smiles and both of us stand up, hugging each other once again before saying our goodbyes.

"Hey everyone! It's Evangeline. So I was thinking, and thinking and thinking about different topics for this week's video and nothing in particular really struck a chord with me... That is until today. This video, is going to be inspired by a recent event and as you can probably tell from the title of this lovely video you've clicked on... I'm going to be ranting about why exactly boys suck."
"And I'm Alex!" Alex yells, jumping into frame.
"And here is the fabulous Alex 'Deodorant' Dorame and she's going to be joining me in today's rant session." I smile and both of us sit down in front of the camera. "So, Alex would you like to start off?"
"Well of course, I'm honored. " She flips her vibrant hair over her shoulder. "One. Yes, sometimes girls do play hard to get. But more than likely, I just don't want you... at all... sorry 'bout it."
"Two. Men are huge hypocrites. They'll get all angry at women for wanting a guy that's tall, but then they want someone who looks just like Kim Kardashian, tiny waist, huge ass and boobs, and you're just like, 'really mate?'."
"Three... Axe. I cannot express my immense hate for Axe cologne. It's terrible, extremely terrible. For the love of God, do not overuse that shit. Honestly I've never met a girl who loves Axe. Just please, spare our nostrils."
"Four. Every guy I know always, and there is no exaggeration in always, draws the conclusion that when I'm angry or pissed off at something, that I'm PMSing. I will admit, sometimes I actually am on my period, but seven out of ten times, I'm not."
"Five. Okay, so this goes for both girls and guys, but I mostly see it among guys. Weed culture. They think if they smoke marijuana, they're so fuckin' cool and bad ass. But in reality, they're just a stoner who is definitely not, in my opinion, the smartest person out there."
"And finally, six. Guys could give less of a fuck about your feelings. One minute you guys are the best of friends and then they try to make a move on you. Then suddenly, when you thought that they were kinda' into you, they just ditch you and you're so fucking confused. Minutes later after the incident, you're sitting there thinking about what had happened and you begin to place all the blame on yoursel-" Alex cuts off my longer-than-needed rant, indirectly about Kyle, and I think she finally put two and two together, understanding that the whole topic was based around 'the incident'.
"Needless to say, boys suck. But at the end of the day, girls suck just as much from time-to-time. And don't even bother to write butt hurt comments down below because remember that this video's just for fun." Alex concludes the video for me while I calm my nerves a tad bit.
"And remember to have a fuckin' fantastic day you guys." I close, doing the cliche YouTuber ending by covering the camera's lens with my hand.
