I walked barefoot with my heels in my hand down the street.
The party had been fun, but I was completely wasted. Not to mention the fact that I felt a pair of eyes on me drilling holes into the back of my skull. But everytime I looked around, no one was there.
I just couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched.
Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me, I tried to comfort myself as I made my way down a long, dark alleyway.
I stopped abruptly realizing I was lost, and for the life of me, I couldn't remember where the hell I was.
I dug into my purse searching for my phone.
Shit. No service. Not even a single bar. Now how the fuck was I going to get out of this mess?
I realized I would have to find somebody that knew the area better than I did, and that lived here full-time. I looked around in complete darkness, but none seemed fourth coming.
Only thing I could remember about the hotel was it's name. The Ritz Cartolone. Now all I had to do was find somebody that knew where they were going, and ask them for directions.
I sighed heavily as I trekked down the alleyway in order to reach my destination.
I started to see light up ahead, and I began to pick up my pace, hoping to find someone. But apparently, at this time of night, the streets of Las Angeles are dead.
The sound of a twig snapping behind me made me whip my head around. No one was there.
Nothing to worry about, right? I thought. But something was telling me I was wrong. I took my phone out and checked the time.
1:00 am.
"Hey."
I immediately stopped in my tracks. My eyes widened as I felt warm hands cascade down my body.
"What's a pretty girl like you doing walking around so late at night?"
He bent down a little lower so that his mouth was right up against my ear, his deep husky voice tantalizing as I listened to the words coming out of his mouth.
