As it was officially 2004, even though it wasn't his birthday yet, you offered Light a job.

You told him he could start working the on January 1st, but he had told you that he had to run a few errands, including taking his father a fresh pair of clothes. Apparently, the 'Task Force' had gone back out after the party ended at one. Something you gathered was that they were going to see L again, drunk people aren't quiet.

_Timeskip to January 8th or when "1500 Kira Investigators are coming to Japan" and when L puts the families under surveillance

Light has been working at the club for about a week now, and he informed you of the fact that his mom wanted you over for dinner.

"Oh okay! I'll tell Haru's grandparents to watch him."

"Okay, I'll come pick you up at 6:30, will you be at the club, or in the house extension."

"The club."

So I didn't explain what L know about Y/n or Shi, exactly. L only knows his alias, which has quite a bit of information on it.

He knows you helped with several cases in your hometown, he knows how Haru was born, and he knows that Matsuda is dating Chiyoko.

It was now dinner time, you had Chiyoko's parents to take Haru and you were currently getting ready for the dinner you were invited to. You had invited Light in a while ago while you finished getting ready.

"Hey, Shi, can I ask you a question?" Light said, standing with his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah, what do you need?" You said finishing putting on rings. (I like rings, do as you please tho)

"What are your views on Kira?"

You stopped putting on your shoes for a second.

"Well, they are a vigilante of sorts... I don't exactly agree with his views, but I see where they are coming from. It is a morally gray area; killing criminals would eventually make you the only criminal left. However, I don't think Kira sees it that way; I think they see it that way, and I believe they see it as themselves being a god of sorts. I do think criminals should be punished, but they should have a place to be rehabilitated, not murdered. If you look at crime statistics in different places, the ones that have nicer prisons have lower reoffending rates. Another reason I don't agree with them is because of the way they kill people who oppose them. Take Lind L. Taylor, for example; he was not a criminal when Kira killed him; he was L, someone who was opposed to Kira's picture-perfect world. Yes, our world is full of injustice, but instead of focusing on killing all the bad, I wish Kira would focus on helping create a righteous system. Anyway, that's quite a packed question, Light. Are you ready to go?" You stopped, smiling.

Light smiled back with a slightly darker look than before, that was quite hard to find if you didn't look. "Yeah, I'm ready. I guess I was just curious on your views, since you are quite mature for somebody your age. And I guess I kinda agree with you."

I am so sorry for not updating. I hope you enjoy this. I was kinda wondering, though, what are your opinions on Kira's ideology? Up top is just like a fraction of my opinions. Also, I had a question about what you guys as readers want this to end.

11 Deaths

or

9 Deaths

Not telling you who the deaths are ;).

Both are quite sad ending but they both have a nice ending.

Vote please.
