Percy's POV

(AN the writing in italics is percy's nightmare 🤗)

They're all gone, Piper, Leo, Jason, Will, Nico, Reyna, Thalia, Grover, Hazel, Frank, Mom, Paul, Annabeth. There's so much blood, and it's all my fault it's my fault it's my fault their all gone. Everything is on fire and gods, no, I'm down there again he's taunting me, his voice like sandpaper filing my brain into insanity. Anywhere but Tarturus anywhere but here please no please gods no make it stop just kill me please, please, please.

Someone's screaming. Oh, it's me fun. I shaking, no being shook I pried my eyes open I was surrounded by the eight weirdos and my uncle was shaking me and yelling my name. Wanda was also crying, being held by Pietro pale and shaking.

Steve's POV

Percy pushed himself up until he was upright leaning against his bed frame. He stared at his clock
11:59 pm
12:00 am
" Good morning, everyone," He croaked.
"Are you ok, Percy?" I asked, eyebrows knitted together
" Never better," he joked. " I thought I told you to ignore it if I started screaming?"
"We all kinda thought you were joking," Clint said, scratching the back of his head
"Well, wish I was, but anyways -"
"No, we are not moving past . What was your nightmare even about? You're just a kid?."

Now, this got on my nerves. The entire room glared at him. I felt the plumbing in the walls start to creak? I was about to say something before Percy spoke in a low voice that sent chills down everyone's spines
" My age does not define what I have been through, nor is it any of your business," He said, shooting Stark another one of his terrifying glares.
"Now," He started tactfully directing his question to anyone except Tony, "Is there a pool in here anywhere I want to go swimming it clears my mind, ya know?"
"Umm yeah, just go to the elevator and ask FRIDAY," I said, puzzled
" Can you just tell me what floor it is? I'm not a fan of elevators."
" The pool is located on floor 97" FRIDAY butted in.
" Ok, thanks,"
With that, he threw the covers and walked out of the room, throwing Stark another dirty look on his way out. Most of us following him to go back to our rooms.

Percy's POV

"Well, that was embarrassing," I muttered, walking through the empty halls. Thank the gods there were stairs. This time, I definitely could not take another elevator ride after all that... jazz. I knew that someone was following me, but I had simply decided I didn't care.

Steve's POV

I felt a lot like Clint right now stalking the kid as he was on his way to the pool. A few times, he spun around and looked directly into the shadow I was hiding in.

When he entered the pool room, he didn't even take off his hoodie he simply walked straight into the deep end and sunk to the bottom. I started to get nervous around the thirty second mark at the three minute mark. I stepped out of the dark corner, fully expecting to see Starks nephew unconscious at the bottom of the pool but instead

He waved.

He had been under the water sitting on the bottom of the deep end for over five minutes, and he waved at me. I stared in disbelief for a good minute or two then... I left and went straight to Tony.

I entered his workshop to find him tinkering as usual.
"Tony, I'm worried about your nephew,"
"Tell me about it. I just thought he had a bad sense of humour."
" No, not that... when he said he wanted to go swimming, I uh followed him, and he just walked straight into the pool. He didn't take his hoodie or anything and sunk to the bottom. After I while I got worried so I went to look and he just.. waved at me he was just sitting on the bottom of the pool." I finished
" Ok, that's not... normal, I don't think? we need Barton he knows stuff about kids." Looking to the vent as if he would drop down suddenly.

Percy's POV

Fifteen minutes later, I pushed up from the bottom to find three people staring. Why were so many people looking at me today? Ugh.
" Hello?"
"How on earth are you dry right now?" Tony asked in disbelief
" Umm, I'm good at swimming?"
"Did you even come up for air once while I was gone?" Steve questioned
"Why didn't you take your hoodie off?" Clint asked suspiciously
All three of us looked at him weirdly
"That's your question?" Tony eyed him strangly.
While they were all bickering, I took that as an excuse to creep out of the pool and slip away back to my room. While cursing for not willing myself to get wet.

Tony's POV

The kid somehow managed to sneak away when he was RIGHT in front of us. I sighed on the way to my workshop, deciding to do more digging on the kid and probably check the security cameras.

Pulling up the pool room, it showed Percy walking straight into the deep end of the pool and sitting on the bottom for over.. twenty minutes. That is not humanly possible? Sighing again, I decided to finally go to bed and make Bruce take a look at him tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed Nightmares and Pools as always please let me know your thoughts. Final words count not including the AN 902. Have a nice day/night :)
