The problem started with Ryan's family. And the stream of bachelorettes they threw his way to pretend to date. It got worse when his actual partner, Tim, started acting distant because Ryan asked about his past. And then Tim got the letter requesting his appearance for the reading of his dad's will. Rediscovering stability ain't easy when your partner is a high functioning sociopath and you're pretty sure you're not a good person either.
Book 2 is written from Ryan's perspective with a short stint where Tim takes the wheel. John also makes an unfortunate reappearance.
