Seth slumped backstage. Did he really just do what he vowed not to? He turned his back on them. He turned his back on Dean. "You did the right thing," Triple H patted Seth on the back, and walked off to find Stephanie. He received congratulatory handshakes and smiles, but it only made him feel worse. He knew Dean would never even glance at him again, and that hurt him even more.
Dean huffed his way past the curtains and the backstage crew. Roman grasped his arm to try to get him to stand still. "Hey man, calm down! You okay?" "Brother, let me go." Dean choked on those four words. Roman knew that Dean and Seth were tight, but he had no idea what went on behind closed doors. Dean hustled off, not to find Seth, not to destroy anything, but to be alone. He found a storage room and barricaded the door. He slammed his head and fists into the wall and fell to the floor. Seth.....seth.....seth.... This hurt Dean more than he could have ever fathomed. "WHY!" He yelled, he must have repeated himself thirty times, each time more distressed than angry, and each time destroying whatever was near, including his heart. He wanted to claw it out of his chest. He didn't cry, he shook. He had never felt another feeling like this, and he never pictured Seth would cause it.
