Let me give you a small tour of my useless class.

There are 23 children in class 5HG, including a popular group of boys and a popular group of girls.

The boys' group consists of a few "cool" guys from my class: Ruben, Niels, Thomas, Floris, and Daniël.

The girls' group consists of specifically chosen mean girls. They call themselves "The Girls" because their names start with G, I, R, L, S: Gaby, Iris, Ruby, Lisa, and Sarah. Lisa is the real bitch of the class with the smallest heart, or should I say, she has no heart.

Then there are the other unimportant groups, like Dean, Lucie, Anna, and Maaike, or Max, Lars, and some loser whose name I won't even bother remembering. There is also a group of girls who feel too good for this world: Welmoed, Lieke, Evie, and Victoria. And then, there's the last one, who floats through life carefree and always seems carefree as well. Jamie doesn't care about others, which I truly admire.

Our mentor is Mr. Smith, and I don't think he particularly likes our class, but he doesn't have to take it out on me specifically.

French is one of the biggest witches. She calls on me way too often because she knows I'm really bad at French.

Math is really awful, just terrible, I have no other words for it.

I do like our PE teacher because he usually leaves me alone during gym classes.

The Dutch teacher criticizes everything I do, and coincidentally, she's also my mentor...

Then we have English and history, both female teachers, both with a Brabant accent, both dislike me.

Biology is fine, but she's only nice to me because I always get nines and tens in her subject.

Visual arts is a bit airy-fairy and super calm, and therefore the second-best teacher because there is one perfect, nice teacher in this whole school who seems to genuinely like me, and that's the geography teacher. He's funny, stands up for me when the class is mean to me, and unlike the other teachers, he's young, kind, and good-looking.

Then there are also crappy subjects like technology and economics, but they don't matter. It's all about him, Mr. Stevens, who guides me through life alongside my grandma.
