Warsaw Pact temporarily FOB, City of Poznan

Colonel Sergey Potemkin from the USSR's 4th Guards Tank Division was inspecting his unit's equipment when he suddenly stopped by a soldier who informed him about a high ranking officer meeting in about 5 minutes. Potemkin nodded and followed the soldier to the briefing room. There he met other battalion commanders (Kombat for short) from various Warsaw Pact nations who were already awaiting his appearance in his room. Even though they come from various nations, it is lucky for them that Eastern Bloc's nations school taught Russian as one of their main language lessons so communication wouldn't be that much of a problem.
Potemkin greets all of them and takes a seat when a brigade commander walks into the briefing room with a white paper in his hand.
"So that's all of them?" The brigade commander asked.
"Yes, comrade Colonel. This is all of them." One of the soldiers replied.
"Good. Better not waste our time any further and go straight to the point." The Colonel then hand each commander a white paper which contain a crucial information about this meeting's subject and as everyone is reading text on that paper the Colonel continue his sentence.
"As you may know by now, because of the 'incident' that occurred around 2-3 weeks ago our nation's government decided to send an intervention force across the 'Gate' to find out what the hell is going on in there and why the hell did they attack us in the first place."
As the Colonel speaks, Potemkin raises his right hand and stares into the Colonel's eyes.
"Speak, comrade." He cut his sentence and stared back at Potemkin before granting Potemkin's wish to speak.
"I'm sorry for the interruption, comrade. But is this paper really reliable? Like, I get it this paper is coming straight from GRU's but the detail is too 'fantasy' for me to believe."
While Potemkin is asking a question other Kombat couldn't but nod at Potemkin's word before staring back at the Colonel as they too wanted to hear an answer for this question from him too.
The Colonel sighs and then replies with a single word, "Da." The whole room fell into silence as each Kombat stared back at each other with some even looking at the Colonel in disbelief.

"So, the army that attacked Poznan weeks ago, is a army of roman liked soldiers and other bunch of fantasy stuff that straight up look like it got summoned from fairy tales? I mean there are 'wyvern' mentioned in this report, like, really?" A Polish officer commented, reflecting everybody's mood.
"I know it is quite hard to believe this information but this is the best we have access to right now. Furthermore, the Warsaw Pact's headquarter wanted to rush the initial plan for invasion from a week from now to...around two hours from now." After letting everyone in the room settle their comment the Colonel continued his briefing while also looking at a watch in his left hand.   "Two hours? That soon?" A Romanian officer suddenly shouted, followed by everyone in the room panicking about the sudden change of plan.
"Do we even have an adequate supply chain for this operation yet?"
"Why didn't you inform us earlier? Two hours is barely enough time for my unit to prepare themselves!" A wave of questions started to flood the briefing room while the Colonel couldn't but release a huge sigh partly because he too just got informed about this mere hour ago.

As the situation in the room is getting out of control, Potemkin claps his hands to get everybody's attention.
"Alright, alright. I know this whole situation is sort of ridiculous which, to be honest, it really is but what can we do then? We can't just ignore the order and throw it out of the window, can we? Instead of questioning about it, just do what has to be done. Have your men ready for a sudden operation, prepare them as much as you can and hope everything will not go downhill from here. I know you know your men really well and I'm confident that you will be able to accomplish this feat even if it is against all odds stacking up on us right now."
After Potemkin finished up his sentence the briefing room fell into silence once again but as a second passed by officers in this room just simply nod one by one as they understood that Potemkin is right and that they shouldn't let this sudden change of plan hamper their professionalism. Even though some officers such as Polish or Romanian ones despise Soviet nationals they too couldn't help but agree with Potemkin's words and keep their hate for the time being so it wouldn't bother their work.
