The following morning, Camila was over by the RV, in the middle of a conversation with Carl. "No, because Wolverine can't even regenerate that fast, he's barely even that helpful to the team."

"That feels like an exaggeration," Carl replied.

"No, they get into a fight with Magneto then what's gonna happen? The guy's just gonna bend his metal bones." She didn't talk down to the kid, she weirdly talked to him like he was also an adult.

"Then why hasn't he done it yet?" Carl asked.

"He has, you're just only allowed to read the PG comics, bro." Camila chuckled, sticking her hands in her hoodie pockets "Magneto's killed Wolverine before."

Carl seemed in disbelief. "He has?"

"Yeah, they were being drama queens, honestly." She smiled. "If I still had those comics I'd let you borrow them."

Amy and Andrea walked up to camp with a large number of fish, everyone got excited and started talking to the sisters about it. Dale walked up slowly, Camila could tell something was wrong. "I don't want to alarm anyone, but we may have a bit of a problem," Dale quietly spoke.

Shane stood up and walked over to Dale. "Dale, what's going on?" Camila furrowed her brows. "Your face looks more concerned than it usually does."

Dale pointed up to Jim, who was alone at the top of the hill and digging with a shovel. "He's been up there all day. He won't come down. He won't stop. Not even to take a drink of water. I'm worried about him." Dale explained.

"I'll talk to him." Shane sighed.

"I'll go with you." Camila said.

"No," Shane quickly replied.

"Oh—" she huffed. "Come on, man, I've had nothing to do but clean clothes in the last few days! I'm literally begging for something to do." She complained. "Like, if I didn't like these jeans so much I'd literally be on my knees."

"We'll all go," Morales suggested.

Shane sighed in agreement. "Camila, go get my handcuffs." Shane said.

She furrowed her brows. "Why me?" She chuckled.

"Because you wanted to help out so bad," he shrugged. She sighed and walked off.

The group soon started hiking up the hill. Jim didn't even look up when the whole group got there, who just kept digging. Shane stood there, waiting for Jim to look up and acknowledge his presence, but he didn't.

"Jim. Hey, Jim. Can you just give me a second, here?" Shane spoke, trying to get his attention.

"What do you want, man?" Jim seemed annoyed.

"We're just a little concerned, that's all." Shane gently said.

"Dale says you've been out here for hours," Morales added.

"So?" Jim asked.

"Are you alright, man?" Camila asked, realizing how much she was shaking and taking off her denim jacket. "It's hot as balls out, pretty much a thousand degrees, we all just came to make sure you weren't melting or anything." She joked a bit, trying to lighten the mood.

"I'm fine," Jim snapped, her small smile almost immediately dropped.

"So, why're you digging, Jim? You going to China?" Shane asked, annoyed with the tone of voice Jim had been using.
