I haven't been to a concert in what feels like forever. I am beyond excited to feel the electric buzz of a crowd. This is my first rock concert ever too and I'm super thrilled to be spending some down time with my girls after a long day at work. Following my three friends through the busy crowd we park up pretty much in the centre of the arena a few feet away from the barrier and relax knowing it won't be long until the band play.

Since I moved to Washington a year ago, I found these three incredible woman pretty quickly and we've became great friends. I honestly would have packed up 6 months after flying from Scotland to Washington to start a new life and flew on back home had I not ran into these knuckle heads.

"Do y'all think they're gonna play Light My Love?" Paisley asks her strong southern accent grabs my attention from the stage.

I smile sweetly at her and nod. "Oh for sure, it's literally one of their greatest songs" she replies by excitedly clapping her hands, before she takes her drink from Bindi, Katie glances around the arena, she was on the look out and not in a good way - her ex-boyfriend is a major Greta Van Fleet fan and the boy had the audacity to ask her for her ticket back so he could take his new girlfriend. So we done what any other decent woman would do, gave him it back amongst a few other things he gave her over the last year and bought us all a ticket to go as a team.

We all met on instagram through this local page that newbies to the area used for ideas, tips and tricks on how to make the move to Washington that little bit easier. With me being from Scotland I had a major hard time trying to get people to understand my accent which led me to Bindi who posted an ad as she came from Australia a few weeks after me - for other girls who had the same issue, we connected immediately and found Paisley along the way. She came from Nashville, and we connected due to our love for all things cowgirl and country music. I met Katie through work, we both run kindergarten classrooms just a few hours from Seattle and met on the morning of my first shift, her grandparents came from Scotland so she was just about the only person at work who wouldn't ask me, can you repeat that?

Once the support act has been and gone and with no luck of Katie spotting her ex boyfriend, which I think I was the only happy not to have, Bindi and her go back to the bar to buy us all a couple of waters as the crowd was thickening and the temperature raising due to the amount of bodies.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and look to see Katie grinning widely as she hands me a bottle of water. We all decide to take a couple of pictures of us all looking cute and most importantly for Paisleys instagram she had not long began her social media career and had a shit ton of followers so everywhere she went she felt obligated to document her travels and lifestyle, I loved it for the sheer fact no memory of us all together went missing, she had documented it somehow. It was also a bonus as I had not long kick started my own social media platform, a different aesthetic from her beauty and fashion influence though, I was making it my mission to become a fitness influencer. I love working in the kindergarten however, my love for fitness and good wellbeing was a bigger area for me to gain more money in, I mean I have a degree in sport therapy and nutrition and wanted to get use of my knowledge on the side. Especially with it being online I can control the hours and content I create when outside the classroom, a win for me not having to commit fully to it as of yet.

After my eyes go back to normal after having the flash beaming in my eyes I have a look at the photos she just took of me on my own, the girl knew her way around an iPhone camera I'll say that.

"Oh my god, Sarah two o'clock over my shoulder" Katie whispers in my ear, my head shoots up and I glance in that direction, seeing no one familiar and only a large group of guys that were all busy in conversation, "What am I looking at? Are they Joe's friends?" I ask her my eyes meeting her again and she laughs softly, " Lord no, do you really think he'd have friends that hot? No, the guy with the trucker hat sporting your all time dream, the curly hair and stubble combo!"
