Duck face or tongue out?... Duck face.
"And... posted," Luke said, tapping on his screen.
I felt like I was hyperventilating. What if they don't like me? What if they all want to kill me? What if they attack me? What if-
"I can practically hear your head overworking. What's going on in that pretty little head of yours." Luke asked, kissing my cheek.
"I'm imagining all the ways fangirls could kill me."
"Don't do that." he replied, kissing me.
"Where is everyone?"
"They're at practice."
"Why aren't you?"
"I asked for the day off."
"And they let you?" I questioned.
"Not really. I just didn't show up."
"Shame on you! You have a concert tonight." I said, lightly smacking Luke's chest.
"I'll just practice before the concert."
"No! Lucas Hemmings, you better get your butt to rehearsal."
"But-"
"No 'buts.' Go!"
"Fine," he muttered getting off of the couch.
"See you in two hours,"
"Can't wait," he said bitterly.
When he finally left, I sat in the couch and checked my Twitter Feed. My phone was blowing up! Comments on the picture were pilling up like crazy.
Of course there was nice ones since as, "Aw, they're so cute together," or "Yay, Luke got a girlfriend." But the hater comments were abundant like, "Ugh! Luke is too good for her," or "OMG, his girlfriend's black? #Ew" Ignorant people. This is the 21st century for crying out loud... racists.
I mean I'm pretty confident, but when thousands of random people that don't even know me start bashing on me, it kinda hurts.
I decided to go out and get a frappuccino. (I know I hate coffee, but only Starbucks can comfort me right now).Grabbing Luke's black hoodie (it describes my mood...), I walked out of the hotel to hear someone scream, "Over here!" and thousands of lights blinding me.
"Hey Luke Hemmings girlfriend. Smile!"
"How are you dealing with all the haters?"
"Why are you dating Luke?"
"How did you guys meet?"
"Is that Luke's jacket?"
"Have you slept with Luke?"
"No comment," I grumbled, remembering what Luke told me to do.
I pulled my hood over my head and pushed over through them. All I want is Starbucks. Is that too much to ask?
...
"Hey babe," Luke said, wrapping his arms around me and kissing me passionately.
"Hi," I muttered.
"What's wrong?" Calum asked.
"Nothing," I replied.
"Oh really? That venti says otherwise." Michael commented.
"You only drink coffee when your pissed and that's a lot of coffee." Ashton informed.
"I'm fine alright?" I snapped.
"Whoa, did you just sass us?"
"No smart one, I just don't want to talk 'ight?"
"Do you need a hug?"
"No," I grumbled. "Don't touch me."
Luke pulled me to his chest and the rest of the guys hugged me as well. Just feeling comforted brought me to tears.
"Why are people so mean?" I sobbed, my voice muffled by Luke's shirt.
"What happened?" they asked, sounding very concerned. Luke didn't say anything, he just held me close.
Taking a deep breath I attempted to talk without my voice breaking. "I went on... hic... Twitter and when I... hic... read the comments they... hic... were... hic... pretty much... hic... filled with hate."
"Aw babe," Luke whispered. "I warned you about this."
"I know," I replied. "I thought it... hic... wouldn't hurt so... hic... bad."
"You lied to us. You did need a hug."
"I know what will make you feel better," Calum said, everyone releasing me.
"What?"
"Luke, put on that sombrero!"
...
"HOW ARE YOU EVERYBODY!" I heard Ash yell. The crowd yelled back in response.
"This is awesome!" Anabel yelled, her brown hair a bright shade of red from hair chalk.
"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself."
"This is amazing! You get to do this everyday?"
"No. I'm usually at the hotels while the guys are at practice or doing some publicity stunts or stuff like that."
"Why don't you go with them?"
"Because Luke and I's relationship was secret until... well... now."
"So this is the first one of their concerts that you've been to?"
"No, I've been to everyone, but I usually stay back stage. This is my first time sitting in the front row."
"Well I'm glad that I'm able to be here with you when you experience sitting in the front row."
"Alright everyone! This next song we're going to play is for a special girl out there. You know who you are." Luke said, discreetly smirking in my direction as "Good Girls" started.
...
"Hey you guys were great tonight."I said, wrapping my arms around Luke's neck.
He responded by kissing me.
"Ew, you're sweaty and icky." I exclaimed, positioning so that Luke's arm was wrapped around my waist, but I could still see everyone.
"Thanks," they replied.
"Who's the girl?" Ashton asked.
Realization hit me when I replied, "Oh this is Anabel. She's a huge fan."
"Hi," she squeaked, obviously excited and ridiculously nervous.
"Hi," they said in unison.
"Woah,"
Laughing I replied, "You may think that it's cool now, but it gets annoying after a while."
"Nice hair," Michael commented.
"What? Oh... right, hair chalk. Thanks!"
...
"I tired," I yawned, unable to walk. My legs felt like jelly.
"I know you're tried," Luke whispered, picking me up and carrying me bridal-style.
"Ew, you're sweaty."
"Thanks," Luke chuckled.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"About 4:30," he responded.
"In the morning?"
"Yup,"
"Geez, wheres Anabel?"
"She left a couple hours ago."
"Oh. That's nice." and everything suddenly went black.
