(Edited)

About an eternity later, the wait time was only 15 minutes! Yes! Less time between me and Luke.

While waiting, I bought an album (for obvious reasons) and ice tea (I don't do coffee).

Oh and by the way, waiting SUCKS! It's so BORING! I thought AP Psychology was boring. This makes me miss Mr. Smith (even his name was boring). So reader, for yours and my sanity, I'll fast forward to the part where I finally got a glimpse Luke and all of his 6'5" glory. Oh my, that lip ring makes me weak! I just- can't even. I thought to myself, trying not to fangirl. I played with my fingers, checked my phone, and just did anything to distract myself that I was next!

When you're in line waiting for the inevitable, there's many emotions you go through. There's excitement at first because, Holy crap, I'm going to meet my idol. And then its nervousness because Holy crap, I'm going to meet my idol. And then its embarrassment because you start comparing yourself to everyone else that's there and you feel like you look like crap. And that leads to nausea and the nervous tick you didn't even know you had comes out. And then you consider running away and hiding from your fears with ice cream because you're chickening out.

I was pretty going through that entire emotional rollercoaster myself and I was about to drop.

"Next in line!"

I wonder who's next? Oh wait, THAT'S ME! Shaking myself out of my dazed stupor, I walked forward, trying not to fangirl in public.

"Hello. I'm Luke Hemmings. Who are these for?"

I kid you not; he sounded like a robot. Some magical moment.

"Well sorry that I'm required to recite a rehearsed script."

Did I say that out loud?

"Yes, now do you want me to sign your albums or not?" He asked.

"Was that scripted too?" I asked, smirking.

He slightly chuckled as if trying not to laugh but accidentally slipped.

"Do you want me to sign them or not?"

"Oh right. Can you make it out to Zelina? Z-e-l-i-n-a."

"Zelina?" he asked.

"That's my name." I replied.

"That sounds familiar." He murmured, probably to himself. "Wait, do you have a Tumblr?" he asked.

"Yes..." I replied, unsure where this was leading.

"That's it. I got it... Wow, it's you. The girl who writes the fanfics."

"Wait. What?"

"Aren't you the 'Crazy Fangirl'?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah? Why? Do you know my blog?"

Please say no, please say no... I silently prayed. I mean, who wants your idol to find out how much of a weirdo and psychopath you are?

"Of course. You're one of the biggest accounts that follow us. I've read your work on Tumblr and stuff. No, wait-that came out wrong. But I've read your books before. They're really good."

"Are you serious?" I asked, on the verge of passing out.

"Yeah. You're a great writer. And... there we go. Here's your album. I hope I haven't freaked you out. I probably sound like I'm some crazy, creepy stalker. "

"Oh no, you're perfect. Wait. I mean... um I'm... no... Um... Can I take a selfie with you?" I asked hesitantly.

"Yeah, yeah. Of course." he replied, taking my phone and taking the picture of us.

Luke Hemmings is right next to me.

Luke Hemmings is holding my phone.

Luke Hemmings is in a picture with me.

Luke Hemmings actually consented to be in a picture with me.

Luke Hemmings' face is right next to mine. Our skin is practically touching. MY OVARIES ARE NONEXISTENT!

He smiled at me and handed me back my phone. We were both still smiling stupidly, but I had an excuse. I would willingly sacrifice my mother for Luke (okay maybe not my mom, but you caught my drift). Luke on the other hand was just looking at me with dopey eyes and kinda chuckling. What have I done? Have I broken Luke Hemmings? Is he actually a robot and I just short-circuited his wires?

"Excuse me ma'am, but you're holding up the line," a buff, black security guard grumbled.

Sorry, my fault," Luke responded, covering for me.

I turned to leave, my shoulders sagging about the fact that I'll probably never see my "Number-one fan," ever again, when suddenly, I felt a on my sleeve. I turned to see Luke smiling at me.

"It was nice meeting you. Enjoy the album." He said, his striking blue eyes staring into my boring, brown (almost black) eyes.

"Thanks. I definitely will." I responded, walking away, feeling more confident than I was when I got here.

I slowly walked away when... smack! I tripped over my own two feet and fell onto the floor.

Nice going Zelina...
