(JAY'S POV)
-----------------------

It was just around four in the morning on a cold windy day when our bus arrives at the location our manager kept a secret for. We were told we had an album cover shoot to do and I could speak for everyone when I say we were nervous.

Sure we had days we practiced under pressure but this was the first time we were actually doing something album related let alone being shown on TV. "I'm so excited." Jungwon said behind me. I looked out window at the darkness that blanketed the area. I was kind of excited too. We all were dressed already.

"I didn't know it'd be this dark" jungwon said once more and we all agreed, usually the sun would be rising at this point giving off a nice deep blue color but not today. The members all started chatting about random things to calm their nerves.

I chose to stay quiet for now, in my thoughts about how this shoot's gonna go.

Eventually, the sun started rising and we made it on Oreum's summit. So high above all of Korea. It wasn't the biggest landmark but it was for them so far. Buses and people all huddled together while we looked over at the view and it was truly beautiful with the prettiest sunrise colors.

It was our solo shoots first, and unfortunately it was my turn. I was nervous but also eager to start our journey as Enhypen. With my arms stretched out, down at my side, I looked up at the sky, feeling the breeze through my hair. I tried not to look at the camera for this one, though it was quite difficult but I have to get ready now.

Various shots being taken as each picture was a different pose. I could feel the chills going up my arms and legs at the bite of coldness in the air but I pushed passed it.

After the photos, I was able to see how they turned out, "I hope it comes out nicely.." I said softly, shifting from side to side a bit, trying to generate some warmth despite being covered by the grey furry blanket on my shoulders.

I watched as Ni-ki did his shoot, a fondness I held for the boy so young. He needed to be protected, cared for, and I will do my best to try as a fill-in parent. I hope his mom's okay with that. Jake was next, our puppy of the group. Living with Jake meant positivity. He'd smile so big, doe eyes wide of excitement and energy. I could almost see the invisible tail wagging at almost anything and everything.

Sunoo was their pride and joy. He was quite literally the sunshine. Always smiling, laughing, having a good time. He stuck by NI-KI quite a lot which made sense. We came to agree that the maknae line consisted of NI-KI as the youngest, Jungwon as the second Youngest, and Sunoo as the third. All of them just a year apart.

Sunghoon was mysterious in a way. He was very introverted and tends to stay quiet around unfamiliar people and settings. Though at home he always jokes around when he finds it best to but stays quiet a lot. He looked cold-hearted but that smile he had was a charmer. He was the sweetest.

While watching all our members take their individual shoots, I noticed Jungwon slowly gravitating his way towards me. I at first payed him no mind but I couldn't resist anymore. "Are you nervous?" I asked softly, hoping my body heat helped the seventeen year old boy. "Yeah ..but it seems like it isn't too bad watching the others do it. If Ni-ki did it then I must be able to, right?" He said and Jay nodded.

"You'll do great. Once this is all over with, we can relax." He said softly and Jungwon nodded with a smile.

Soon enough, all the morning shoots were over. We all got back into the warmth of the bus we were in before. It was Sunoo, Sunghoon, Jake, and Heeseung. Then in the middle was Jungwon in a singular seat, then me and Ni-Ki together.

I hoped it would be jungwon and I in the double seat but I at least still had him beside me. I couldn't stop myself from looking at Jungwon with soft eyes. His ashy black looking hair that looked so soft to touch, his little lips and doe eyes. My heart raced in my chest, I kind of felt disgusting almost for this puppy crush.

Jungwon was only Seventeen and I am nineteen. If anyone found out, even the company, I would be kicked out. I sighed and leaned closer to watch the clip of Sunoo dancing that he begged us so much to not watch.

The rest of that time was filled with lots of chats, eating, and unit shoots.

After the shoot was over, we all gathered together at a little restaurant for dinner. I sat across from Jungwon on the furthest side from him closer to the window. It was our first time eating together as a group and it was a little awkward. We all were eating nicely after a long day of shooting and I continued stealing glances at Jungwon, hoping he didn't notice.

(JUNGWON'S POV)

"This came up today.." I started, looking at everyone nervously. "We keep saying 'Hello, This is Enhypen'" I said softly and the others all giggled a bit because it was true. They haven't decided on a greeting quote yet. "Let's do something really cool" Jake stated.

We all arrived at the hotel shortly after dinner. All of us crowded in one room and I was able to sit beside my Jay Hyung. My heart was racing but I tried to play it cool. "My hairdo and makeup disappeared like 20 seconds after I arrived." Jay said and I looked over at him. "It was really windy" i said softly and Jay nodded. "My hair went back because of it. I looked like a lion." He said and I just looked at him with a smile.

We all laughed as we shared stories ranging from loud lawnmowers, crawling centipedes, to modeling and landscapes. Jay gradually leaned more towards me and I felt all giddy inside, looking at the others with a smile still on my face as we shared our stories.

"We weren't posing for anything, it was actually because we couldn't see." Jay said. "Right, it was to block the sun." Jake said softly.

"We were like vampires." Sunghoon added and I nodded. "I think I can do a lot better since that's indoors." Jake said softly, I leaned more towards Jay as sleepiness was taking over us both now that we had the chance to sit in bed.

(AUTHOR'S POV)

Jay had pulled Jungwon into the room after the recording had ended. He wanted to just hang out with the boy for a little when a camera wasn't shoved in their face. With his legs tied with jungwon's under the covers, they stayed close together in hushed words.

"How are you feeling after today, Hyung?" Jungwon said after a few moments of silence. "Hmm...it was a bit difficult but I'm sure we'd get used to it. I wish it was warmer out but I feel we all have to get used to it." Jay said softly and Jungwon nodded. "Today was fun though. The adrenaline of finally progressing forward" Jay added and jungwon hummed softly. "How about you?" He said softly and looked down at the boy.

"I was really excited and I feel it was the proper reaction. I loved posing for the camera and all the food. I feel like I bonded with you all more." Jungwon said softly. Out of all of them, he felt closest with Jay. He was an amazing friend and Jungwon only hoped they stayed like this forever. Maybe closer.

"Right, but know it only gets progressively difficult from here. The more we grow, the more difficult our routines get. But know that ill always be here if you need it." Jay said softly. "Thank Hyung.." Jungwon whispered softly.

------

hi, I'm so sorry if this seems rushed. I'm not doing too well mentally because my boyfriends been gone for quite a bit and he's all I ever talk to. My friends aren't really active so I figured I update this story.

I apologize once more for the lack of updates. I'm currently in school and its really difficult for me to get used to despite having five more months left until I graduate.
This book takes the longest since I have to look at reference episodes and shows to copy line for line or thing by thing. Thanks for waiting though!!
