When The Cameras Are Off.

Jay smiled widely and took a moment to say what he needed to the judges as well as TXT and BTS. Giving one final bow before walking off to the podium, hugging the other three whom are equally as happy as Jay was right now.

He turned back around on his podium and looked over at the final members. Jungwon looked really nervous now. His heart pounding in his chest. C'mon now...

"The fifth debut member is.."

Jungwon felt nervous now, more than ever and there were still two more positions left. In Jungwon's opinion, announcing the sixth and seventh debut member was a lot more nerve racking than the first five. It was a make or break, you could make it or you won't. That scares Jungwon.

"Yang Jungwon." The host said and turned to look at Jungwon who was in the state of shock. His eyes wide, mouth open just slightly before being covered by his hands. He stumbled into the embrace of Daniel, K, Sunoo, and Sunghoon. Eyes watering. "Please say your final words before stepping on the podium" the host said and Jungwon sniffled, taking the mic and stepped forward.

"Thank you.." Jungwon said and bowed, he felt breathless. He was the fifth debut member. It felt so surreal now. It felt like a dream and Jungwon could help but pinch himself on his arm, feeling the pain of the punch let him know that this wasn't a dream.

"First of all, I was right place last time by global votes, so I came on here with no expectations at all. Especially because I placed last in the 'Chamber 5' performance.. I was having a hard time mentally since. I want to really thank the global fans who placed me so high." Jungwon said and stopped for a moment. He felt choked up now.

"In the past as I practiced, I kind of forgot my goal to debut and just practiced but through I-Land..I'd like to thank producer Bang Sihyuk who helped me realize further why I wanted to do this job." Jungwon said and took a deep breath. "And to the directors who've given feedbacks and the twenty-two other I-Land participants who have been by my side" Jungwon said, looking right over at Jay. "I wanted to say Thank you, thank you so much" Jungwon said softly and bowed once more.

He walked over to the podium and let out a small sob, hugging the other three and then Jay last. The tightest hug. "You made it, you're okay... we're okay" he said softly and patted Jungwon's back. Jungwon nodded and sniffled, standing on his podium, a bright smile on his face.

After I-Land happened, they now formed a Seven membered group named Enhypen. With this group came Heeseung, Ni-Ki, Sunoo, Sunghoon, Jake, Jay, and himself. Strangely enough, it was a handful of people Jungwon felt closer with than the others. Not that he didn't like the others but he found himself a little closer to these particular six.

It was only a few days to celebrate with their parents about their victory and to say their goodbyes. It was sentimental, having a contract to be away from your family to live with a group of boys who are gonna be a whole other family soon enough.

Poor Ni-Ki, the young boy had no way of going back to Japan, he couldnt celebrate his victory and they had no personal phones anymore so they couldn't make a call home. All they had was a laptop to make official Twitter statements. Producer Bang told the group that their phones will be given back after they make their official debuted.

For now though, All seven members were in a van on their way to the dorm they'll be staying at. Some were excited and some felt tired and slept the car ride. Jungwon felt too excited to sleep but he knew he'd crash eventually.

They all talked and joked around, and before they knew it, they were at the dorm. Jungwon woke up Ni-Ki and Jay before all of them piled out and into the dorm. Ignoring the cameras that were in their faces the moment they stepped out. They cut them after they walked inside.

"Alright boys, listen up" one of the directors said and stopped in the living room of the dorm to talk. "There are cameras set up in the house in your bedrooms, this room, and the kitchen. These cameras are not on all the time. They will be removed after Season one and two of your first show before debut." The director said and smiled. "These cameras are only visible to us directors. Please do come up with a name for your show and submit it to me through the official Twitter messages and we'll get to creating your first show!" The director said and Enhypen cheered.

"We'll be on our way out. The first day of recording starts tomorrow. Be sure to give me the show name in two days." The director said and lowered the camera. "Congratulations, boys. You made it." He said and left with the other directors.

Once they left, everyone seemed to dissipate into their own places. Heeseung and Jake went to the kitchen, Ni-Ki went to the bathroom, Sunghoon in the bedroom, Sunoo to the makeup room Jay had pointed out before.

Jay and Jungwon stood in the living room of the dorm, they looked at each other with glassy eyes before tears bloomed in them. Jungwon hugged Jay so tightly, crying into his chest. "We made it, Jungwon. We made it." Jay said softly and rubbed his back.

Jungwon nodded and hugged Jay tighter. "We can rest now...the hardest part is done." Jay said softly and pulled away from the hug to cup jungwons face. The teary eyed boy made Jay heart squeeze in his chest. The boy was so precious with his teary boba-like eyes such a deep brown, his cheek and nose a soft hue of red paring with the much redder tint on Jungwons ears.

"Oh Wonnie..." Jay said softly and wiped Jungwon's tears. Jungwon felt his heart race at the action and newly nickname. He giggled and nuzzled his face against Jay's hand and took a deep breath. "How about you take a nice long bath after Ni-Ki gets out?" Jay said and Jungwon nodded, hugging Jay once more. "Thank you for always being there, Hyung" Jungwon said softly and Jay just smiled.

Jungwon wiped his tears and grabbed some clothes from the bedroom, waiting by the door before stepping inside after Ni-Ki. Jay went to the bedroom and sat on the steps that led to the upper bunk of their bunk beds. He felt happy to finally debut in a group like BTS did, especially with Jungwon.

"How do you feel?" Heeseung said and sat down on the floor in front of Jay. The boy took a deep breath. "I feel tired, exhausted...but mostly excited and happy." Jay said softly. "Happy that you made it of happy that you're in a group with Jungwon?" Heeseung teased with a grin and Jay felt his cheeks heat up. "Shut up-" Jay mumbled and laughed with Heeseung.

Heeseung was the older member Jay always felt himself get drawn to whenever he felt upset. He wasn't always this calm collected member and needed someone to be vulnerable with. He couldn't be like that with Jungwon when Jungwon was only so young and needed a Hyung.

Jay went to Heeseung about a lot. Stress to make it to the next stage, stress to pass, thoughts about quitting, and Jungwon. He talked about Jungwon a lot before finally confessing that he liked Jungwon a lot. More than a friend, a brother, family..he had a crush on the boy. But he didn't want to make anything official until after they debuted, after Jungwon turns seventeen.

"To finally debut but mostly Jungwon too...I thought I wouldn't make it or that Jungwon wouldn't." Jay said and sighed. "But it's over now and you did make it, he made it." Heeseung said and smiled. "Wanna celebrate later?" Heeseung added and Jay nodded with a smile.

They all had a wonderful dinner of beef and ramen with water and soda to pair. Laughs and happy chatter around the table as they celebrate the finality of the group. Jungwon and Jay made eye contact and smiled widely at eachother.
